I am so glad that you like the sprays. I love the shimmer content of them! I can't wait to see what you do with them. I have used the sprays on paper and fabric flowers and WHOA the shimmer explosion. I just love them!
So glad you tried these, love my Lindy sprays, have not tried the embossing powders, but I will now, tfs!
Your tip on the tap water used is wonderful. I wondered about that. I am going to use filtered water just to be on the safe side. Thanks so much!!!❤️
I love these and the company!
I usually add a small GLASS bead to my Lindy's and it helps to mix up the mica powder! You can also buy a small container of stainless steel BB's. So glad you love the Lindy's, they are BY FAR the best spray in the biz!!!
I really love the sprays. I think you Will love them.
I'm so glad you found them! They rock!! Yeah:)
I love hearing the sweet baby sounds in the background.
Amy, I am so glad that you found Lindy stamp gang products. Tracy (the owner) lives 23 miles away from me and she works the whole think out of her huge garage. In July of 2011 my DD and I drove over to meet her and get to spend time with her. If you would like to check it out I made two videos back in July 2011 that shows Tracy and talks a little bit about the company. I thought it was a huge company, but it's just her and her family, but it is fantastic. Hugs, Lisa G
the Lundy sprays are great. you'll love them
So cool! A "live" demo of the colors. This is absolutly the best way to see what colors actually look like in the flesh so you only buy those you actually like.
Just wish there were one of these for each color/color range in different products such as sprays, inks, powders etc as it is not just about the brand but the color/shade too, and in some ranges certain colors are ignored in tutorial/review vids meaning you never get to see what they are like.
If you have any other LSG products I would love to see how the colors work on those too!
Thx for taking the time to share x
Really enjoyed your reviews on the shimmer Mists. I've never tried shimmer mists, but I may have to order some from Lindy's Stamp Gang. Thank you! Matching embossing powders...fun!
just love them ,I have never had a problem and they are fast to ship
Ohh those colors are so pretty! I have 3 other colors, so ill have to grab those colors! Thanks for the review! Ill tell them who sent me their way!
I had heard of them but haven't purchased any yet. They do look great! Glad to see Linda M's idea on distilled water, too. :)
So Happy you tried LSG Amy. I have all the spray collections & they are by far the BEST & my FAVORITE! Enjoy! Hugs Traci
Great review and I am so glad you like them. Lindy's is totally addicting in case no one warned you lol. Thanks goodness they have some really good sales 3 or 4 times a year. One should be coming up soon for black Friday! You probably all ready know, but you can also use the sprays with a paint brush for a more precise application if that is what you need/want. Also you can just drop a couple of BB's in the bottom of the bottles to help with the mixing if you want. Have fun with your new toys :)
I just ordered a couple of the sprays. Haven't used them yet but I'll have to take them out now! The embossing powders look fab too!
I was late to the lindys train, but found them in the clearance aisle when i started card making a few years ago. the embossing powders honestly make me feel like a kid with a bubblewand.... cosmic pink blue never ceases to absolutely enchant me... sometimes i just stamp a bunch of stuff on pieces of black and white card just to play and watch the magic...... this made me smile, tfs Amy
love using those
It does say on the packaging to use distilled water if you have "bad" tap water - I just used tap water so we'll see what happens but if they start to act up down the road I'll know it was b/c of the water.
I doubt it - Thanksgiving for us in Canada is this weekend and I never got time to make any before this. And I'm still trying to squeeze in a few more Halloween cards before diving in to Christmas/Winter/Holiday. We'll see though.
Great review and thanks so much! :)
Lindy's sprays are my sprays of choice. The shimmers are really shimmery. I have a set of the flat fabios and I love them for laying down some base color then spray with the shimmers.
I have really been toying with getting the Lindy's and have been putting it off, now that I have seen what beautiful color and shimmer they have, will be getting some, for sure. TFS. Will tell them who sent me ;)
Love Lindy's Stamp Gang :) I have a lot of their sprays! Hugs, Jenny
Very pretty. Yum
Love these sets, def going to buy them. I just bought a bunch of your sentiment stamp sets, still haven't had a chance to use them but def going to. One thing with the MOM set, we spell it MUM lol. Oh well.you get that but had to have it as the font is "gorgeous"
Thanks for the review, its one thing seeing the bottles etc online but to actually see how they all look as a set nailed it for me.
Cheers
I tried out the EPs and showed them in the video...
Their embossing powders are also super fine & work great for those intricate stamped images. I recommend using VersaFine for stamping. There are several comparison videos on the Lindy Stamp channel that give great explanations & demonstrations of the different types of Lindy sprays. I found them extremely helpful. Enjoy!! I love the magic of EP!! LOL!!
I believe they ship to pretty much anywhere in the world.
ANother great thing about their product is that you can get replacement sprayers for free. I use their products on most of my cards and mini's.
I like lindys!
The only problem with Lindy's products is they are super addictive Amy! LOL, try the magicals they are fantastic to paint with! You'll want more sprays, trust me. So surprised you'd not used them before and not at all surprised at your review. Have fun playing! Patti
Great thumbs up video thanks for sharing :)
I have some of their stuff from years and years ago. I thought they had gone out of business until a friend from India mentioned she got some. I love sprays especially for Halloween. Guess I need to go spend some money after next Wednesday (SS check assuming the government sends them out :P)
These look fab. Does anyone know if they are available in the UK
sorry about the EPs not sure how I missed that. will have to take another look.
I've been wanting to try them! Their shimmers are real pretty, but does the shimmer drop? I mean, does it transfer around my hands after it has dried up?
great review, I actually went a bought a couple of the sprays and LOVE them. curoius as to how you liked the embossing powders? have you tried them yet? Thanks, Ang
I was just wondering....if you will be doing any Thanksgiving card tutorials....that would be awesome!! I've learned so much from your videos and have made a few of your Halloween cards for my friends and family. Sooooo, I was just hoping you were going to post a few Thanksgiving cards!!
mmmm not that I've noticed
I wonder what would happen if you used alcohol instead of water. Hmmm
Are you still using these sprays? I have some and love the colors, but I cannot get them to spray evenly and have given up on them. The bottles always drop large blobs of ink while spraying that ruin my project. So I am curious if you still use them and if you have that happen too.
I haven't used them in a while (I go in phases with some of my craft supplies) - but I will say that these along with most of the sprays I've got and used don't 100% all the time spray a fine mist - they're all more splattery - some more than others. These ones b/c of the pigments in them need to be shaken up REALLY well, and even then little blobs and whatnot are going to happen. Spraying from a greater distance helps (some people lay their projects in the shower and spray them in there LOL so that they can spray from further away - or outside which is what I'd do b/c I don't like cleaning the spray off the shower enclosure).
Thank you for your response. I also won't be spraying in the shower lol.
for the BEST results do not use tap water. is worth the small expense of purchasing a gallon of distilled water and only using that. Everyone's tap water is different and I have personal knowledge of getting one use of a batch I bought because the tap water I used had to many minerals in it. First it messed with the color and then it made the liquid to thick to spray. weird. but have heard from others same type of stories. Distilled water is cheap and saves you major headaches.
There shipping is a bit expensive.
Very pretty. Yum
