I’m buying this knife. It gets very little love but I dig it. I normally buy a Cara Cara 2 every 6-8 months but switching it up this time. I think this will suit me well. N390 is more “me” I kinda HATE the ZDP189 on my Spyderco.. looking at it wrong corrodes it, uhg.

Seems like a solid knife for what it is, but very much inline with what Olight typically delivers. Olight’s flashlights are great in the areas that count, but don’t really dive deeper on the enthusiast elements. They’re bright, more efficient than most, and maybe have 1-2 innovative features, but that’s usually where it ends. I see this knife appealing to the same group: People that want high quality/effective gear, but also maybe aren’t into this as a hobby.

This is definitely a gun shop/sporting goods chain knife. Kinda like the Griptillian tbh. And potentially it could be a gateway for someone into the hobby.
But for someone who’s already a knife enthusiast it’s probably gonna be a pass or a catch and release.

I always want to see overall thickness in pocket versus common knives.. and no one shows it. I don’t get it? Do you guys only wear hammer pants or fuckin cargo shorts?? Some of us thickness is important. Thanks tho you’re one of the few who did

This is a decent knife... the one that disappointed me was the Olight "Parrot" which is hitting out of its league with a flimsy build and a lock that reliably fails with not a lot of pressure. Another case of a non-knife maker doing bad knives ? I fear the answer may be Yes.
