I have always loved hearing from Larry and Kay. So much love exudes from them in every word. They have found solace being around the people that have followed this case, the other victims, and their undying love for JJ. My heart breaks for them 💔. For all the victims! I was especially drawn to Colby Ryan and what he said today. He has lost his entire family. He loved his sister and JJ…his heart has to be broken over the fact that his own mother is responsible for all of what has happened.
It hurt my heart that Tammy’s family felt she would be forgotten in all this because two beautiful children lost their lives, as well. No one has forgotten Tammy. Their family has been broken in into so many pieces. Such a shame! My heart breaks for what Chad has done to his children. They love him, but he has broken them, as well! I hope in time they will be more at peace, but I fear that will be extremely hard for them.
I have to agree with Larry when he said all of this was done…”for what?” We know what the what is, but in the end Chad and Lori have lost everything…for what? Life in prison and death! This is all so incredibly sad! Those three…four really have lost their lives. Chad was so stoic. No one spoke on his half, Chad didn’t speak on his behalf. He is a broken man…he knows what he has done. Even though I don’t like Lori at least she was faithful to Chad and didn’t throw him under the bus, Chad did. Lori is delusional! Charles said it best when he said she had a break in reality. She has and is still broken. Chad is just a sick man. This doesn’t excuse Lori or Chad in any way. They deserve what they got.

Larry is SUCH a wonderful man. He exudes calmness and unconditional love. My heart remains broken for this caring man and his kind, supportive wife. I can see why JJ did so well around them. What a peaceful force, such an opposite from the chaotic, almost manic personality of Lori. As a felllow autistic person, my heart breaks even more for JJ for what happened in his last year of life. His adoptive father was killed, his mom moved him far away from all who he knew and trusted (Especially Larry and Kay), stopped his school programs that wouldve given him security and routine reprieve in the whirlwind that was Lori, his service dog was given away, and his mom was thrusting tons of knew untrustworthy people into his home, his medication that helped him deal with his mother that had little thought to how all of this was affecting her disabled son. he lost his best friend, his one remaining rock, his protector, his support, his lovely caring, emotionally mature beyond her years intelligent sister Tylee.
Lori weaponized his autistic response to all the changes she FORCED on him, and used it to justify killing him. Absolutely disgusting and VILE.

ON A SERIOUS NOTE, it is time for the victims to be acknowledged. Dear Chad, as in most all religions the concept is Good v. Evil. Also as with most all religions, everyone will be tempted by evil. Chad you were tested by evil and you failed in every way possible. You have destroyed your own family who cared and loved you, who followed you anywhere. You destroyed the families of JJ Vallow and Tylee Ryan, and caused unspeakable trauma, pain and grief of all those people in their lives. The Evil that tested you came by the name of Lori Vallow.
I agree with all you said. I believe it was the combo of Lori and Chad together that created the evil in both of them…making them truly toxic. Neither is more or less involved. Them coming together made them equally, at fault. It was the combo of the two that they made them so evil. Was Lori involved in the death of Colby and Tylee’s dad? That is possible, but not proven. If she isn’t it certainly made her realize that she gets money when someone dies.

Kay’s victim impact statement was so powerful. As a grandma, I cannot even imagine. How do you deal with the anger and pain all this time? I so wanted to be there for part of the trial in some way and just hug Kay and Larry. At the end, I wanted to hug Colby and Tammy’s sister! Those were the most impactful to me. What were their exact instruction about their victim impact statements?

God bless you both. i hope you can move on happily. two monsters have been brought to justice. we never have to see their smirks and noses in the air again. hope chad prison is a long way away and his sentence is carried out swiftly. his children are such cowards they didn't even show up for him. hopefully they read the entire court transcript and come to the knowledge of truth.

I have absolutely been supportive of the woodcocks and feel terribly for their loss. When Mr woodcock started talking about what would happen if this case was tried in NY or CA I was floored. People in both those places have felt for these crime victims. Was like a slap in the face.
I think he meant because of the death penalty and because NY & CA have so many people and so many missing people that this probably would have fallen under the radar. In Idaho, they dug in and wouldn’t stop because they had fewer cases on their desk. That’s all, it was about population, not an attack on the people, in my opinion
