The panini style, on rosemary foccacia bit remains one of my favorite J+A lines. Such a great tradition of overexplaining food items (Hotel Room room service and Taxes gala items as well).
The grocery store near my house started making rosemary focaccia bread and the first thing that I thought when I saw it was "perfect for a cockmeat sandwich."
partially, yes. they shoot whilst having a general idea of what they want to do and say, but if they come up with funny lines on the spot, they'll use them. it's the advantage of not having someone else writing their scripts for them.

They sit a desk away from each other. If they're working on something, they probably sit next to each other, sure, but that seems too close and it's just for the sketch.
If Amirs character saw these outtakes he'd be so happy
Holy shit, I know I'm 3 years late but that is the most aodrable thing I can imagine
I know, right! He'd be so happy, his little heart would give out! :3
Pretty meta thinking
A parallel universe where they are best bud actors making skits
@@theramo0 if the finale is anything to go by, this is kinda what ends up happening with them! So their characters do end up having this fun together!
The whole "Stop touching it" bit is 10 times funnier when you know the context that Real Amir is just doing it to make Real Jake laugh.
I love the moments where Jake and Amir make eye contact and just instantly burst out laughing
2:32 they're close enough to kiss
It's always the outtakes where they're on the couch that are the funniest. Bucket List, Business ideas, Resume, Oscar Pool, Movie Pitches, Oil Spil
Those episodes are the best

My favorite part of these outtakes is when they riff completely new lines just out of nowhere
I wonder if odds and ends was spelled "OZENENZ"
It was
+RudeDudeMike™ for some reason I read that in Arnold Schwarzenegger's voice
Thank god for one take jake, if he didn't break so much a lot of the show's greatest lines wouldn't have been added
2:20 jake is so used to being the one that messes up that he apologizes for amir laughing.
The grocery store near my house started making rosemary focaccia bread and the first thing that I thought when I saw it was "perfect for a cockmeat sandwich."
Literally every time I see or hear the word Focaccia
Your relationship makes me so happy
2:31 THE WAY THEY LOOK AT EACH OTHER 🥺
2:37 just kills me, like, I feel like I am being stabbed over and over again because of the laughter.
My favorite Jake and Amir quote by far
I wonder if they're actually seating that close, or it's just for the sketch.
Zoom samuel zoom!
He was bread the whole time!
Soooo, they think about what they are gonna say while they're filming ?
Yes
@@KonkeyDongkey they have a script but they do improvise a lot
As soon as they almost get something one of them adds something new and they have to restart and incorporate it

These aren't outtakes this is a writing session.

hey whats up
I don't think Jake once ever calls Amir by his first name in the series o.o
John Odegard well....he does though
Amir_Vinci well.... he doesn’t though
No I remember one time Amir said, "Jake" and Jake said "Amir" and Amir said "Call me Jake".
