Ow yeah! My favorite shmup of all time!
My favourite (because I played a lot long time ago) is the arcade version, arcade machines were great... you could control the joystick stick with your left hand and push the bottons very hard with the right hand (two fingers per button)

Hard for me to pick a favorite version. They're all good. I guess the ones I've played the most are the PC Engine and PS1 ports.
I like the extra drum effects in the PS, Saturn & PSP versions
The funny thing about the SNES version of this game I think this game looks a lot like the third gradus game like the enemy placement and the whole power system
I gotta say, this game is very good! I love the fact that you can choose different characters! This really must be a crossover of the Konami Classics!

The Easter Island heads with sunglasses on have a cigarette in their mouth in the title screen of the Nintendo Japanese versions, but this has been taken out of the European/American versions as we are apparently not allowed to look at cigarettes. Nintendo can be so weird sometimes!
Also, I think they did a really good job with the Gameboy versions!
You're assuming that they're "cigarettes". 😆 The Moon has one too and is blowing smoke rings in the 1985 Gradius image.
Que juegazo. Jugando en la SNES una vez la campana de invencibilidad se quedó bugeada y me duró el resto de la partida. Creo que fue la única vez que llegué al final haha.

Ya en 1990 Konami troleaba a la peña con un r-type Troll, la madre q los parió Xd. No parece muy dificil, aunque ya se verá después. Todas las versiones son muy dignas, quitando las de gameboy q a mi parecer juegos de éste tipo no suelen ser prácticos por el tema de la pantalla. Creo q llega a decir EXCELENTE!! cuand pillas un add-on joojojoojj.
Me encanta el troleo especial de la version de pc-engine al start. Luego es muy digna versión al arcade. PSP tiene un dolby sorround no? Xd.

El de MSX es otro juego distinto realmente, por eso no lo añadí en el vídeo.

There's no Parodius Da! on MSX. You're surely thinking about the first release of Parodius from 1988.
