- In an attempt to test out the off-road capabilities of the car, we had a lot of fun on the glass house mountain powerline track - until we got stuck on what seemed an easy challenge. #mistakesweremade.
What do you think we could have done better? Let us know in the comments below.
If you are just here for the muddy part - it starts at 6:24.
great to see you did not take take things too seriously and just had fun. and to finish with a 2 day clean must have been good therapy. Good on ya.
Good on ya for being brave enough to have a crack and get it muddy. 👌
must have been there on a weekday. i was there on monday and there were plenty of people to help :D
Yes - we went out on a Friday. Couple of dirt bikes came by but that was it.
@@8U5HM8 unlucky mate. It's all fun and games. Hope to see you out there one day
next project lift kit and a bigger tire😄
Not sure we can go much bigger on the tires, we are already a size up. Lift kit definitely coming along side gvm upgrade.
Thanks for the video. Are these Maxis tyres noisy on normal road?
We have found the noise difference to be minimal. I measured on my Apple Watch and from memory got about 2 to 3 dB difference, including fitting roof rack and awning.
Subjectively speaking I wasn’t able to notice the difference. Hope that helps.
Thank you for the information. I am trying to gather info as I wait for my 300 series.
Mate come back with lift and front locker and you'll be sweet! Sadly Glassy is rutted hard from every man and their dog going through with 35"s and rooster tailing every slippery section
Would you have gotten out if you had your own winch?
Yep - winch would have done the job and is of the list of mods coming up. Also suspect that a second set of maxtrax could have gotten us out.
Brave couple
Not from lack of trying !
Hi what tyres are you running, was it tyres or were you sitting on the belly? I think there is a lesson, at least for me, in the two day clean…..
265/70R18 Maxxis razrs. But that didn’t make a difference as they were no longer in contact with the ground.
We were amazed at where the mud kept coming from. Certainly a good lesson in how to clean a car 😂
What tyres did you get?
They are the Maxxis razr AT.
Why distroy this so expensive car?
