Japanese of course. The guitarist Narumi has had a mostly solo career but she has been in the bands Destrose and Disqualia. Destrose was an amazing all-women metal band that broke up ("went on hiatus") but spun-off multiple other bands like Lovebites, Disqualia, Mary's Blood, Fate Gear, and many others. The singer is Maiko Nomura a voice actress who has done anime and video games. The drummer MIZUKI and bassist Yuuki Hirose are also music veterans. Narumi was in Destrose with Haruna and Miho of Lovebites and in Disqualia with Hazuki of Nemophila. Lonesome Blue is working with some of the Lovebites' team. Asami is helping to write lyrics, and Mao Yamamoto is composing songs. Mao also works on Lovebites songs. Mao was the keyboardist for the metal band Light Bringer.
You're in on the ground floor with this band! They're causing quite a stir in the Japanese Rock and Metal scene (which is the country where all the best music for the 21st century is being made), as they're all veterans of previous variously successful bands and this incarnation is excellent.
Background on Narumi Suzuki and Lonesome Blue (sorry for any overlap with info from other commenters) Narumi Suzuki (known professionally as “Narumi”) is one of Japan's elite guitarists. She was Destrose’ co-lead during that band’s most successful phase, along with Destrose bandleader Minako Nakamura (“Captain Mina”); other bandmates included Miho and Haruna, who went on to found Lovebites, and Marina Hebishii, who founded Mardelas. After leaving Destrose, Narumi co-founded Disqualia with Ibuki. Her co-lead in that band was a very young Hazuki, who is now one of the two lead guitarists in Nemophila. After Disqualia disbanded, Narumi focused on a solo career, which yielded a phenomenal solo EP, “The Seed”, featuring highly technical prog and fusion-style instrumentals. It is worthy of comparisons to some of the great fusion albums of the late 1970’s. They call themselves a “hybrid” band as two of them, (Narumi (G) and Mizuki) (D), are veteran girl’s metal scene musicians, Narumi goes right back to the origins with Destrose. Maiko (V) and Yuuki (B) are voice actors from anime and are part of an “Idol” game and in an Idol group “Queen of Purple” which is all the other side of the J-Metal scene the west usually ignores. Together they are working with LOVEBITES producers and writers as well as their vocalist Asami who wrote some of the lyrics for them. All of the above have something to do with Victor Entertainment and I guess you could call this their latest pet project. Their EP has five tracks and legitimately four styles including this kind of heavy classic rock, party metal and some kind of disco rock which works WAY too well! This is from their upcoming album and it hints at there being the same mix and some really good stuff waiting for us. The key to any good rock band is quality songs and interesting bass (ask RHCP about that concept, they are a shining example) and L_B has those two things plus one of the best guitarists in the genre, and a vocalist who has a good English accent. Add a drummer who beats them like they owe her money, and smiles doing it (much like Tamu of Nemophila) and it looks like we’ve got ourselves a winning combination. Parallel World and Welcome To Secret Heavenly Bass are both real gems. If you really listen to them they are both top quality and great fun, which is what I want from my Metal today. Now, speaking of that, did you ever check out Hanabie’s L.C.G.?

I think that this song presents English and Japanese versions of the same lyrics, i.e., a single verse in both languages (someone please correct me if I'm wrong), as well as the chorus. In my limited experience with the Japanese rock scene, that's rare; it eliminates the question of how idioms in one language translate (or don't) to the other, and it should enhance their marketability substantially. I think they're destined for a great future.
