When women are cheated on they have some PTSD because of it. Then being a caretaker and being abused crushes self esteem. This make over helped her to gain more confidence inside so she could shine outside. She was already beautiful to start with.

Our age is truly just number! So ladies..no matter how large that number is,.....just ...enjoy the age number, that you feel you are inside as Christopher has shared in so many of his videos with clients.

It's ok to be old, it is so sad this obsession with youth I pray I am not that way when I get there, suddenly we're an old couple? What is wrong with that? It's a stage of life we all go through if we are fortunate enough to make it.
Amen! It’s okay to look your age! I’m also 66. I color my hair and wear some make up to look my best as I always have, but that’s it. Don’t feel a need to compete with younger women or have heads turning.
It may not be youth per se, but the feeling that her youth was wasted on partners who betrayed her. There’s a loss of self that comes with relationships like that, and it can be important to recapture a sense of rediscovering the person you were before all the crap happened. I get the feeling that for her, this was the last piece of that, to make her external appearance match better with the internal peace and healing she’s experienced.

This is wonderful. The change in her hair makes all the difference! It's a sassy cut, and the color is just right... I like the darker areas near her scalp. She seems lifted and much happier overall. Great job, everyone :)
This makeover literally did take years off her and that hairstyle is perfection. I always struggle about which hairstyle would look good on me. I honestly think this is a winner for her and perhaps even for me! Thank you Makeover Team for showing us that growing old doesn´t mean growing ugly. There is hope if we learn and try new things. Heart transplant. Personality change is real after that surgery. Some very nice people just were not the same afterwards and it’s very tough on spouse.
I wonder if that is to do with the anti rejection drugs that are needed afterwards?
What they don't tell transplant people is that emotions hide in our organs. You are putting someone else's body part in your body that is holding vibrations. I've heard stories again and again how food choices change, likes/dislikes change, and personalities. Sounds like he got someone's heart who was an angry and disgruntled person. She did the right thing by leaving.
Or it could be the catabolic steroids prescribed after surgery. Changes in personality are a well documented side effect.

Something from her story really made me curious though, she said that her second husband’s personality changed after the heart transplant and he became very mean...wow! Is it possible that it had anything to do with the new heart? Like, if we receive a body part from someone else, with their own dna and carrying that person’s information, will it affect how the behave? I know it doesn’t have to do with the subject of the video but it really made me curious.
I’ve been thinking of this too.
New heart or not, she made a vow to be with him in sickness and in health. I hope she stays healthy..... what goes around comes around!!!
@@greenjewel509 I don’t thing it’s good to judge if we don’t know what she was through. We are not all the same; some have more inner strength to endure, others have less. I don’t think it’s good to abandon your spouse once they are sick, but I think she didn’t want to do it either. But maybe things got to a point where she was feeling abused and couldn’t stay anymore. Maybe it wasn’t about him being sick, but about him treating her very badly. Anyways, never judge a situation you’ve never been in. You never know what you would do in that situation until you are there.
Back in the 1970's, my mother was a stylish 54 year old when my father had a major stroke. Soon after, he had a second stroke. He was immobile, incontinent and struggled with speech. It was like caring for a 14 stone baby.
I had a young baby of my own, at the time.She needed much more support than I could give her.
My father was pleasant and welcoming to visitors. I later discovered that in private, he was verbally abusive, and threw food and crockery at her.
She believed that marriage was a contract, recognised by God and the State, that could only be terminated by infidelity or death.
My father died after 5 years of decline.She lived , with a clear conscience, until she was 87. Just sayin .............
Gee maybe since he had a heart transplant, a major , major, life event it changed him. Just a thought...life an death an all.

Your videos have helped me realize it’s ok to acknowledge I want to still look youthful and pretty… not old! I’m “only” 62-not old! You’ve given me courage to pursue looking how I feel inside. I know why she needed this makeover; yes she was already all the things she wanted to be, but she lost that vision of herself. Having been through so much personal trauma, she needed someone to have a vision for her and to make it come true. Her makeover is stunning and I’m so happy to see the joy on her face.
