Did a 2nd test this morning, G2 pretty 👍 good, 15 mph feels fast enough. Can go about a mile in 7 min. Good over grass dodging dog walkers when traffic is heavy. Good braking and good going over small bumps and driving way ramp bumps.
Here is a Throttle tip for u guys that For some reason Gotrax never ever mentions 🤷🏻♂️ . The throttle only becomes active when the display changes from odometer to speedometer. So you don’t have to push the scooter faster or double pump the throttle, you only have to Waite two seconds after you push off, then the display will change from odometer to speedometer then hit the throttle and you are good to go. ………. You’re welcome : )
I owned the Gotrax RIVAL from Walmart and it is awesome!! But don't leave the charger on it over night, set a alarm for 4 to 6 hours then disconnect. The battery will be damaged
@@xxkarlosxxxxxx7233 I only charge it like ones a month since I don’t use it a lot! But I always let it like 50% and then I’ll recharge it! But ones it’s done! I’ll unplug it !
I wish the frame and shaft were longer. As a average hight person my feet get tired after just a few minutes from my feet staying too close together, which in turn makes me feel less balanced.
I keep seeing hate on Gotrax, are they really that bad? I know most e scooters won't go as far as they say and that they're usually slower too. I'm just getting into scooters and I don't want to spend a ton on one. I'm 6'2 and usually between 210 - 220lbs does anyone have any other brands they'd recommend? Is Hiboy or Turboant good companies? It'll be just a weekend toy for me basically
G4 is pretty awesome. I'm 195lbs carrying a bagpack and it's my daily commute to work (2miles). I have no problem hitting the 20mph. My coworkers are all swinging by my office inquiring about it. The only downfall is the 25 miles advertised. Like this video is.mentioning, it's probably more 15 miles but the rest is awesome. Buy it, you wont regret it.
0:50 Amazon(Canada) is selling this for 1200. Strange as this is now an over 3 yr old product. 1:35 main reason I won't get the other ones on the market that gotrax sells. Speed and range is important
GoTrax has an F rating on the Dallas Texas better business bureau. Terrible company. They don't do any assembly or repairs and are nothing more than a US warehouse for fully Chinese made and built scooters. Sells new buyers scooters while telling old buyers waiting on exchanges to wait. Support knows less about their products than even shown in this video.
I ended up buying the scooter and I can say the claims GoTrax has made are false. Firstly I don’t get more then 15 miles on a single battery charge (I weight 165lbs), there is no dual breaking system as well, in fact the braking system present does not brake the scooter fast enough when you are going at 20mph. The initial assembly of it is also a bit messed up, the screws do not go in easily. Apart from it is a good scooter. But all the reviews out there have hyped the scooter above what it’s worth. Honestly most of the reviews out there seem like paid promotion apart from genuine review. At least this channel mentioned few of the flaws as well.
Gotrax has an F rating on the Dallas Texas better business bureau page. Terrible company. They ship scooters not correctly assembled (big flaws like the entire wheel bearing installed bent) then want you to pay to ship the entire scooter back. Not something normal like just the wheel. They sell new buyers scooters while telling you they have none. Or as you mentioned they have fake reviews because they mention when they purchased and received yet gotrax says sorry we can't replace the bad unit we sent you waiting on stock from China. Support has zero product knowledge. Gotrax does not do any assembly or repairs themselves. They want to blast loud and proud they are based in Texas USA yet their product is fully Chinese made and assembled and their ceo is a Chinese national. Even glassdoor/linked in former employees mention they were treated poorly if they were not Chinese.
@Yallsofake he mentioned there is not TWO brakes as advertised. As in the electronic doesn't function. That can't be adjusted. I've also read people are finding the battery cells are not LG as advertised in some gotrax products.
@Yallsofake just like a bike....with two brakes. Front and back. One wheel brake can not only be dangerous but is clearly not the stoping power of two brakes.
@Yallsofake so you run your rig broken and that works! Good for you. You came here arguing the fact brakes could be adjusted and then claimed to be "correcting him". That's simply never been the argument here. There is no argument. 2 brakes are advertised on this unit. It didn't come with two brakes. He's not the first I've seen this happen to. Two brakes physically provide more stoping power than one. Two brakes are safer than one. Nothing to correct or argue about.
Okay now you're just being plain ole ignorant, not talking about dual brakes or nothing else I only addressed what he said about the time it takes to brake from going 20mph saying if he tightened the brakes you could easily come to a stop from 20mph .its that simple ,stop complicating things . .
@@_smarrero Depends on how fast you go. If you stay in speed 1 you will get over 22 miles. If you use speed 2 like me and average 15-20mph it will be less. Maybe 15-18 depending on inclines

Pin to turn it on and off is ridiculous. And the rider will find it irritating. Nobody is going to knock one off a scooter so just make it have a hardened steel body loop so the rider can use a Ubar Kryptonite or big chain and padlock. I dont have those issues with my ECORECO L5 PLUS electric scooter 👌
I just got this scooted 2 days ago. Now that im used to the 20mph it is just too slow for me. I should have saved more to purchase their faster scooter with a longer mile range bht this g4 will get my jobs done still. Just too slow imo.

I felt like this scooter can go faster but there is something limiting it, they should update their firmware and fix the speed.
Do not buy gotrax. If you have any problem, they take no responsibility for their failures. Mine was brand new and had an error code. This rice cooker is perfect! I use it only for me ruclips.net/user/postUgkxviiltW7NlHbp_VL_bLbIkbLAvILVhnia and sometimes me and my friend so the small size is really great for counter space since we never need to make all that much. I have been using it now for about 2 months and it still works perfectly. I use it for both rice and vegetables (better for harder vegetables like green beans and carrots, it made my broccoli way too smoosh-y for my taste). It keeps your rice on keep warm automatically which I really like, and I’ve used a few of the settings, flash rice, white rice, brown rice, and steam, and they all work super well for me, although I don’t like smooshy rice so I’ll usually use flash rice. It’s super easy to clean either in dishwasher or hand wash, and it’s pretty easy to get rice out of the grooves by where the container comes out. I assume this one will last me a long time but if I ever need another I will definitely be getting this one again!

Hi
Jesus Loves all of you guys
😇
The scooter is 649 not 500 dollars
Inflation…we made the video in 2020!
@@TechWeWant I see. That's crazy. Hopefully it it goes down in price.
good review
GoTrax has terrible support, my new G4 did not arrive with screws, after waiting for replacement they did not send enough and wrong size. Totally frustrating. Do not buy the hype.
F rating on Dallas Texas better business bureau.
@@AMoneyVideo You can stop spamming this and just tell us what's a better scooter then. You spamming the exact same comment will just get me to buy it even more. Find me one that's less than $600 and goes 20MPH+ if you know which company is reputable because everywhere I go, all scooter companies are horrible
@@ohHeyKev Any of the segways. The real version of this scooter xiaomi. Turbowheel. There's 3. I'll quit letting people know how trash gotrax is when gotrax stops being trash.
@@AMoneyVideo Well after a lot of painstaking reviews and comparison I locked on the Segway ES2. I would've gotten the ES4 or the MAX but I just had $729 and didn't want to spend it all. It's hard finding a good electric scooter because they are either Chinese knock-offs with poor assembly or the good ones are priced as if it were some used car on Offerup.
My son is 9 years old and about 46” tall would he be able to ride this scooter? Wanted to get something that he can grow into instead of out of ?
I think it's not okay for kids because they can get hurt
Just get him a bike
Yes, buying for my 11 yr old. Just wear proper protective gear
@@siesiechampion I don't recommend buying anything from this brand. There are a lot of reviews saying this is a scam and saying the support that this company offers is so horrible. They don't even help. I did a ton of research before buying my first scooter and I just got the Xiaomi M365 scooter from Amazon. It's the best budget scooter in the world.

Can you mod these. Put off road tires and make the range extend ?
Potentially. They do make off road tires for e-scooters but it tends to be for the bigger ones. Also changing the tire on these electric scooters is a real pain.
I am officially first
😎
This scooter make in China. No technical support. I use only 3 time, the battery have a broplem. No vendor in USA. Do not buy this. You will be sorry
Bought it and love it. Had it for weeks. Used many times.
@@sonly4067 yea gotrax has an F rating on the Dallas Texas better business bureau. Terrible company. They don't do any of their own assembly or repairs. Fully Chinese made and built scooters.
Don't buy it!
Be careful... this scooter have a lot of problems... in the break and must in the tire... ever get flat.. and don't have any solid replacement that fit well. The air tube best quality you can use for 1 month maximum... ridiculous. Customers service don't work.... so bad company!
So what to get
Can you plz make them water resistant thank you . God bless
How reliable is that cable lock tho ?... I don't want anyone to come clip it off 🥲
