It's actually not fundamental price action. Fundamental price action is supply and demand. Price only reacts to supply and demand. The robot can only react to supply and demand. Nothing else. If it reacted to literally anything else at all the market would have been solved already. You can't really talk down to people about not understanding the market while not understanding the market. That's just rough.

I wonder if we had a HH on the 1H hit as liquidity target if we then short after we hit the liquidity or if we trade in direction to hit the 1h HH so long?
nothing works like this. I am digging into ict second year.. started right with his 2020 mentorship.. passed and documented all videos.. did tonns of backtestings.. and nothing.. small targets, tiny targets.. whatever I am doing I always loosing. I didnt mean loose evert trade.. not at all. But long term. Funny that I few times doubled paper account in tradingview. Once I start any prop firm evaluation - I never can complete it. No way to keep with in their boundaries.
Check this time on everyday 9:20 to 9:35 that 15m cycle is gold … it has to take short time swing high or low on 1min time frame…

I try to get a good RR but i do see that it isnt necessary to have it. You can make money with a 1:1 if you have great risk management and a great strike rate strategy.
That's why you have to have multiple charts opened up 30 seconds five seconds. Whatever you're going to be trading with in the candlestick before it actually trades on the market well I don't think I'm saying that right cause I don't fully understand but I think that's the gist of it correct me if I'm wrong first time I heard about doing this.

Did anyone catch the starting point of the 15 minute cycle? Midnight open , and based on the hour I'm guessing...
The only issue is, price is not going to reverse after every high or low taken and will create a very minor FVG and then continue higher or lower. In all these cases you would take a loss.
what if its looking at diff time frame fvg or high or low?

correct me if I'm wrong. Basically I need to formula a daily bias and determine which HTF(M15, H1) liquidity is going to be taken. For example, You have bullish bias, targeting a HTF Buy Side Liquidity. Then you have to wait until the price goes lower and take out a short term low or any kind of Sell Side Liquidity, before you enter a buy position. Not until a liquidity grab, you should do nothing but just wait.

no just go into 1 minute wait for time like midnight open or 8.30 open. find a liquidity target on the opposite side of where it is after the opening price of these times. wait for a liquidity sweep on 1min or 5min for higher probability. enter with 2022 entry model. get your reward

How long ago was this lecture? because I've heard him advocate for R:R. However, in that same video he did say he would take a 1:1 as long as the entry is on point.

This exact same model that you just watched xD. The liquidity grab must occur in a HTF, then you go to the lower time frame and wait for MSS. ej: 15M (HTF liqudity raid), 1M (entries). Or 4H (HTF liquidity raid), 15M (entries). it depends on your style.
turtle soup is basically trading the last liquidity raid before the big move, there is nothing better than this, because with turtle soup you are trying to catch a htf move in a ltf. You can have beautiful 1:2, 1:3, 1:4 RR, even more, depending on the time frame and how big your stop loss is. I wouldn't recommend more than 1:3 tho, 1:2 ideally because there is more probability for the trade working out faster and more winrate as you're not trying to reach the moon, just 20, 25 pips. more than 1:3 is simply unnecessary. with a 100K account 3% is 3.000 USD, in just one fucking trade. what more do you need? no need to be greedy.
the only "bad" thing I would say is that a lot of times price doesn't give confirmation after sweeping liquidity, specially in news day, so either you risk more by putting a limit order or enter manually WITHOUT choch/mss, or you miss more trades, that's your choice. missing trades is not bad tho, better miss than lose.
If you mix this with taking tourtle soups that are only aligned with the daily bias, you probably have a high winrate strategy right there and there's no need for anything else, just practice. this shit even works taking counter trend trades bro, but don't expect to win every single one if you're taking counter trend trades.

I respect ICT but he makes things quite complicated. But still a lot of thanks to him because of his teachings I understood market structure very well and formulated my simple model using 1m TF only and without any daily bias,multiple time frame analysis. And zi still get 1:3RR trading only GU. Roughly I get 5 to 6 trades per day (london, NY sessions combine) and winrate is 40-50%

try reducing your trades per day and then check the winrate (dont trade asian session in Indices and NY PM session in Forex)

@@RiGD01 What point do you start your strategy from on the 5m or 1m?
For example, if you are on the 15 minute time frame and you see a clear DOL (sellside liquidity), you mark that off and then jump down to the 5 minute time frame (which should be in a bearish order flow also), and you wait for a short-term high that's already been formed on the 5m to be taken (liquidity sweep). The candle that sweeps liquidity on the 5m or 1m STH, do you wait for that candle to close and then go to the 30s chart to look for a FVG, or do you wait for candles to close below the low of the STH on the 5m/1m and then drop down to the 30s time frame and look for a FVG? This is the part that I want to get more clarity on while back testing.

Good video. High risk reward system actually only works in hindsight. If u use high reward system then you would have lost 3 trades in a row and won one trade with 1:3 risk reward which is essentially a loss because of spreads and commissions. The goal is to win more trades to evade losing to slippage and spreads.
i had my best week on august taking 1:1 trades, a lot of traders have the bias right, and they know exactly where the market is going, but they get wrecked on the LTFs trying to catch 5RR trades using a Tight SL

You should either have high win rate while scalping 1:1rr or shoul have a decent win rate with a good risk to reward ratio.
@@strangestoici will take high win rate over high R:R any day. Having high win rate just fills you with a lot of confidence in your system and reduces a lot of pressure and stress that comes with trading.
