How to Replace a Low Beam Headlight Bulb on a Honda Accord (2002-2007 North American Models)

- This is how to replace a low beam headlight bulb on a 2002-2007 Honda Accord (North American body style) and it shows the more difficult side to replace which requires battery removal.
The passenger side of these Accords is much easier to access, so this video is just meant to show the difficult part. If you can do the driver's side with the battery in the way, you can do the passenger side headlight as well.

Sucks that you have to remove the battery because then your presets or trips will reset. Aside from that, Hondas are easy to take apart and put together. Had a 92 and it was fun to learn on it. Good quick video.
Just go thru the fender well no need to remove battery
@dbdan61 He’s right, through the fender will do the trick, just pop the clips out and pull it back. All of the three bulbs should be accessible through the fender.

You have to remove the battery to take out a headlight bulb!! are you kidding me Honda!!
To be fair, a lot of manufacturers put the battery in that area. Some of them do have enough room to get in there without the battery being moved, but lots of cars have to have the battery removed to access headlights and front turn signals. Definitely frustrating to deal with, though!

Yep9006, then 9005 is the high beam
Is it the same process for a passenger side bulb?

Yes it is terrible that you have to remove the battery just to replace the bulb! Making a simple job more involved!
Just go thru fender well no need to remove battery
@@a.d1280I just changed mine out from the top put my hand around the battery. Took a couple minutes but I got it in there off feeling around.
