This is so much more clever than the other AFK method because you are actually driving all the time instead of driving, falling down, driving, falling down and so on. So you get more mileage in a shorter period of time.

Probably haha, you know how controllers are on console. Good side I got warranty on mine, so I just change them yearly.

Depends on how much miles you have, but mostly 20-30 hours. For me was around 15+ hours
