I would like to point out a little correction, in drainage basin covered by Mahanadi, on the slide it's written Maharashtra along with other 3 states. But I think instead of Maharashtra it is Madhya Pradesh (as per what is written in NCERT). Request you to check mam. Thank you!
After the formation of Chhattisgarh., the major portion of mahanadi badon lies in chhattisgarh. Only 169sq km basin area of hasdeo river in anuppur district lies in MP.
