Very beautiful tutorial madam. Just have couple of confusions.
1. You explained in your slides that greater Himalaya starts at Nanga Parbat in the NW direction, as it is considered Western syntaxial bend. And Zanskar range , being a trans himalayan range extends parallelly north of the greater Himalaya. And Pir Panjal range being a part lesser Himalayas extends south of the greater Himalaya, how come Kashmir Valley located between Pir Panjal and Zanskar range. Either it should be between Pir Panjal and greater Himalayas or between greater Himalayas and Zanskar range.
2. Kamet peak is located in Uttarakhand like Nanda Devi peak which is part of greater Himalayas bordering the Tibet . Then how Kamet will be highest peak of Zanskar range which is primarily located in Kashmir and Ladakh. Is it extended beyond Ladakh. If it extends beyond Ladakh also and runs parallelly to greater Himalayas, then it would end up in Tibet below kailsh range.
Although many sources like Britannica mentions it, but by studying physical map it is unlikely that Kamet peak is part and highest peak of Zanskar range.
