I'm curious, as an actress how do you differentiate between yourself, and the character you're playing? Like do you ever find yourself acting like your character off-camera, or do you ever become a different person because of the characters you've played?
It all starts with process in observation. Once you start by differentiating yourself from your character I think it gets easier to know when you’re in each. The lines can be blurred at times because we are human but when you do enough work on preparing yourself to get in and get out it gets easier to be present and know who you are. I hope that makes sense?😅
@@tabisagantsho6536 I’m so sorry for this extremely late response, I must have missed your question. There’s usually a journey that the character must have taken, or something happened to them. So as the actor that has worked on and lived in the character it is our duty to live out all their emotions. Methods to “cry” on screen are different for everyone. Some people think about what happened to them that was hurtful or others choose to use the character’s situation and empathise with them to get there. I hope this answers your question. Thank you.
Oooh I hear you. No no, these can’t qualify as classes. And doing an acting class online can also be very tricky. I think it’s an art best learnt in a physical setting. And in the previous episode I’ve given a few recommendations for where you can do acting classes. I hope this helps
This series is really helpful sis Sike thank you so much for keeping us informed and well learned.

@@sikelelwavuyeleni yeah I think I get what you're saying. So you have a lot of practice in getting in and out of character; must be a lot of fun 😂
So how do you guy deal with crying scenes? Does it come on its own or you have to think about something painful
