I have TicWatch 5 Pro on order but the Huawei Watch 4 Pro is looking on another level. My main concern is that the Watch 4 Pro will be let down by software limitations, in UK the e-Sim and NFC payment functions most probably won't work. Build quality wise the TicWatch "looks" cheap and the screen being gorilla glass isn't going to be all that durable. Watch 4 Pro on the other hand looks so premium, and that screen just looks incredible.
Thanks for this great comparison video!

Well used huawei gt runner who was similar in many aspect with gt3 pro and I used ticwatch pro 5 both seem to worked great and same way. Ticwatch pro5 are pricier like 160$ more then the gt runner. So I tested both right now. The used of ticwatch are a bit more complicated and a bit less user friendly then the gt runner. GPS found are more rapid on gt runner then ticwatch and this last one unlike the gt runner don't gave you any vocal advice for your goal of training. The processor on ticwatch pro 5 seem a bit faster but not noticable. The only factor to make me my final choice it's the cheaper price of gt runner, 160$ less. What are you think here ?

Huawei elegant, Ticwatch looks like a cheap watch... Huawei has better materials while Ticwatch has some cheap non resistant materials. Huawei has some software updates, even if they're rare, while Ticwatch has 0 to none...

Huawei watch GT 3 pro has better material but Ticwatch Pro 5 material isn't cheap and doesn't feel cheap. The only thing that makes it feel cheap is the silicone strap which I immediately changed it to a leather strap. And you are right Mobvoi needs to step up its game when it comes to releasing software updates.

WearOS has better features, as its really just slimmed down Android. With that being said, its insanely innefficient on battery, to the point where the only way a WearOS watch can get the battery life close to others is by strapping on another display 😂
I went with the GT3 Pro because I can live without some features. HarmonyOS allows quick responses to some notifications, I dont need full replies. What I need is AOD and a watch that makes it to the end of the day so I'm not embarrassed when someone asks me the time 😂

I have to correct you there. Gt3 pro does not have 2gb ram nor 16 gb rom. Only 32mb ram & 4gb rom. You should pit watch 3 pro or watch 4 pro against the ticwatch instead. Gt series lack smart capabilities.

GT3 Pro has 32 GB of storage, available for user around 26GB. I had one!

@@MarcoPolo82 woah.. what’s with the fury and anger. Are you trying to pick a fight or debate? Yes you’re right, 32gb of memory. But heck it doesn’t change the fact the watch still can’t run full feature like replying messages with onscreen keyboard and other complicated functions. What’s the use to have bigger storage when you need smart functionality. Nowadays people don’t store music in their phone or watch. We just stream them. Gt3 pro doesn’t come with WiFi nor esim features which means even if it runs apps, there’s difficulty sending and receive high bandwidth data on the fly. Sanctions had hit huawei hard. It’s been difficult for huawei to get their hands on high tech chips. Huawei no longer reveals the watch specs to general public. It’s gt3, gtr3 pro, watch ultimate, and even watch 4 specs remain hidden from public. The most they’ll mention is memory capacity. Focus is entire on sports and health. Ditching the smart capabilities. Remember huawei envision we can control our smart device and huawei device from out watch with harmony os? That had since dwindle down. The only incentive for huawei is to produce premium quality huawei fit 2 watches. No hate and asterisk . But just facts.

@@SiroccoSeven You said the Huawei GT 3 Pro had 4GB of storage, but it doesn't, it has 32. That was just a correction.

@@MarcoPolo82 yes sir. I have stand corrected. On the other note, I’d pointed out there’s no real use of the large memory apart from storing mp3. Nowadays we stream music of the internet. GT3 is incapable of running complex applications which nullifies the large storage capacity. If it’s able to work as a smart watch like Apple Watch, then we can take full advantage of the 32gb storage. Huawei itself has very limited applications. Even in my watch 3 pro barely hit half of its storage after installing 15 apps.
