Since 1934, the Masters Tournament has been home to some of golf’s greatest moments. Amidst blooming azaleas, towering pines and flowering dogwoods, the first full week of April ushers in a stage unique to golf and to sport. Over four days and 72 holes, the smallest field in major championship golf competes for a chance to capture the Green Jacket and a place in Masters history.

I'll say it for the whole golf youtube community. PGA Tour Highlights channel take note! This is how you do highlights. People want to see every shot highlight reals of star players each week. Pick 3 per week, and release em at end of day or following morning. Maybe its 3 out of top 5 guys, or the 3 leaders, whatever. The channel would skyrocket with subscribers no question, and the viewers want it.
This is the Masters once a 😊
You are absolutely spot on. This is a great innovation, if you'd call it that.
Maybe one of the greatest 69s at Augusta. He was everywhere you should never be and with only Pars on the back nine par 5s, incredible. If he wins, it will be forgotten but if you know Golf and this course, absolute amazing.
yeah, he wasn’t ball striking particularly well by his standards and still had one of the only rounds in the 60s. Could be scary if he’s dialed in tomorrow.
The 69 I had was better 😉
Couldn’t stand all the club drops other than that it was nice
His putter saved him almost every hole. Pretty amazing round.
His putter saved him almost every hole. Pretty amazing round.
I really want Colin to get the green jacket!
Me too. He's got an incredible game. It's time for some new blood. I really like this kid!
@@doodlepops707 Kid?.. he’s 27!
@@ceboz That's a kid, when you're 62.
Thanks for the laugh, kid. 😉
Will be awesome to see Scottie and Collin battle out tomorrow for the Jacket.
My bets on Hideki hard out
Collin Morikawa understood the assignment…Moving Day!
This man is an some one every new golfer should follow. His swing is silky smooth. ❤
only downside to his swing is he only really plays fades
@@jappajdub if I could play a fair that consistently I would have been also aging the Masters 😜
@@jappajdub Consistency is an upside.
He has really bad tempo. Slow backswing and extremely aggressive transition. When his time is off - like the past two years - it doesn't hold up.
@@MahanFan1 well to be honest everyone thinks maintaining a card and just getting the opportunity to complete at that level is more than enough. They already have enough money to keep them happy till death. The chance of constantly playing on the tour is underrated .
Short game was on 🔥! Let’s close this out Collin!!
Honestly a surprising round for Collin, who really didnt put anything super tight like he normally does with his approach game. To grind out a 69 with all pars on the back with sub-optimal irons is really something special from Collin. Of course, hitting every fairway helps too, but his scrambling has been solid and if he can hit a few more greens tomorrow and just putt like how he did today (did miss some short ones which I expect from him), then he might be putting on the green jacket.
solid round
I love this and what the masters does with filming every shot
Agreed ❤😊
Just a terrific player. Go get it Colin
Excellent round, the fine margins are so thin, the course looks superb, hats off to all at Augusta
such a beautiful golf course
Morikawa is my favourite golfer to watch, great 3rd round from him, so hope he can win the green jacket tomorrow but it will be a tough assignment battling it out against Scheffler, cheering for Collin all the way :)
Go Morikawa!
So nice golfer. I'm impressed your play
I like his style ❤
Thank-you, Masters. Would be great if you could also add. snapshot of the players scorecard for the day at the end.
yess
Switching putters seems to have worked. Now onto the final round. Way to grind!
I will be fun to see him challenge Scottie for that green jacket. If he gets that putt going, he can go really low.
Come on guys, it's 2024. We have AI, we have drones that can perform laser light shows. You should have tracers on EVERY SINGLE GOLF SHOT!!!!!!
Chipping and putting can make or break any scorecard 🎉🎉🎉
Collin's putting has looked better this weekend.
that putt on 1 was clutch
Just a "Save" magician this guy is; exceptional putter and a lag artist too. If he gets just a tad more control over his accuracy on 1st and 2nd shots, he will be unstoppable. He is ranked 20th in the world right now, and maybe has the most consistent game through 3 rounds, the last four days anyway. I think Morikawa is likely today's winner. Homa, Aberg and Hojgaar; one or more will go on a tear today.
I was really pulling for Tiger, the rain delay and long day two didn't help. I think he had it all planned out for rest and being able to walk 18 over 4 days, just unfortunate. Also an up and down artist in his own right the first two days. I certainly hope he can heal more and build a little endurance. He is like Ovechkin in my eyes, there is nothing in on earth that would prevent your perseverance from the becoming the greatest to ever live, I wholly admire that drive in any athlete.
Barely chunks any iron shot. Amazing!
Early backswing looks slow motion on ya.
These greens… unputtable !! 😅
So satisfying to see pros hit 2nd shot with FW on par 5 😅😅😅😅😅😅
More cowbell!
Dude is a player
Would be nice to have a tracer on these
He's not swinging his irons well and yet he's 2nd in the lead after 3 rounds... wow.
@themasters Hey Masters, wouldn’t hurt to put the current score of the player or even a small leaderboard in the corner of these every shot videos
I could watch that golf game all day except the discouraged reactions from a “mis-hit,” (which any one of us would pose like it was flushed).
Augusta is just an ordinary golf course for Morikawa.
2nd
Pga youtube is so frustrating, why wouldnt you put up the stroke to par instead of just counting strokes?!?! They need a better social media/online manager.. and way more shot tracer... idc to see a closeup of the ball in the sky. Show me the shot shape.
Want him to beat Scheffler. If he plays like this, and some putts drop, I think he will.
Zero bogeys, missed two easy birdies, otherwise almost a perfect round
Made a bogey on 6
First
No fun watching without shot tracers…
Collin hit many shots near the pin, but they didn't hold on those greens. Masters' greens are a joke, a little like putt-putt golf. In spite of that a solid 69.
He never has confidence in his iron shots. He should be more positive!
What’s with him letting go of the club on iron shots ?
He's probably the best iron player on tour and he wasn't hitting the greens as often as he usually does. That's why
Hypoglycemia! 😂
The best. Small but Terrible.
I believe that you can win. Let's go morikawa 💜💜🤍🤍☝️☝️☝️☝️
POETRY, JUST POETRY!!
He wouldn't have won his first major had it not been for the lockdown nor the open. Those wins did prepare him for the bigger stages and spotlight. @yourself
I guess there’s no more documenting Tiger Woods every single shot on a Saturday now is there yeah pass the baton buddy step away from the game before you fall and break a hip
What a unknowledgable comment. Just very strange.
He played once all year and got sick. Then he comes to Augusta 48 years old and beaten down with injuries. He gets screwed with the tee times. Then he plays in swirling gale force winds on one the most difficult golf courses. He finishes 1 over and still in contention going into Saturday despite all of it. That alone might be as or more impressive then his win in 2019. Absolutely incredible
@@FJBFRFR I guarantee you this guy hates people of color. He's probably a Trump cultist as well.
He will not win srambling
