Great story, Bill! Congratulations on the first of many walleye for 2020. That river fishing blows me away but somehow you catch them. Excellent net too. Hi to Mike and I bet your family enjoyed the fish dinner. Eyes are outstanding table food. Have a great week, Don

Great video as always and nice fish! Those walleyes are so big up there! I feel like we catch more walleye on the Southern Tier (bank fishing anyway) but the average walleye on the southern Tier is mabey only half the size of the average walleye people catch bank fishing at the Niagara. They grow them big in the big waters I guess!

When you bomb jigs out there in deep water pull out a bunch of line so it will fall straight down instead of at an angle. Really maximizes your casting distance, i do that when i fish buck jigs for hybrid bass in deep water

Catch and release every fish please. Go to your local grocery store. You don't need this walleye to survive. All you old folk don't think about the youth and only think about saving some cash for booze and nicotine.
