Waiola is our favorite shave ice. The ice is as soft as new snow and the flavors,at least the ones I like best, are fruity and sweet,but not over sweet. We have been eating Waiola shave ice for over 30 years whenever we are on O'ahu. If you live there, go get a shave ice.
I visited Oahu last month for the first time, and I went to Waiola pretty much everyday of my stay. Sooo good! So simple, but I’ve never had something as good back in the mainland.
Waiola Store is my favorite shave ice source!🌈 Matsumoto's may have the name recognition, but WAIOLA STORE HAS THE BEST SHAVE ICE ON O'AHU!!!🍧😋 There's no comparison!!!!! When I was going to UH, I used to ride by there from campus 🚲 on the way to the beach. I'd usually stop and get a shave ice on the way, and then I'd get another one on the way back from the beach - sometimes 2! Wish I were still back in Hawai'i so I could do my part to kokua. Need to keep them going. I'd hate to see a time when they don't exist.😞😨
I hope he can hang in dea.... I wonder if he did some take-out food like plate lunches? There are some places making bank because people want food delivered.
