They need to stop this before someone accidentally gets into a situation. Whilst I agree most sharks are fairly friendly, they are still wild animals and some have different personalities traits
People are free to do as they wish. If something goes south, it goes south, but no human should be told they need to "stop" what they are doing unless it's directly harming others. Right to pursue happiness, and some things like skydiving, whitewater kayaking, dirt bike jumping, firefighting...some things come with risk. It's none of our business
@@nicoleb695 The shark doesn't care if she is a marine biologist. That just means she is at greater risk because she has more contact with sharks. Herpetologists get bit by the snakes they handle all the time. Some die.

I would say a herpetologist is at less risk as they are on land and have mobility. If a shark decides she is a threat she can't get away fast enough. This type of video is also dangerous because morons will think sharks are friendly and jump in to have a swim.
Shark attack victims usually don't have time to respond. Tiger sharks are cold blooded so a lot of the time cruise around slowly. If she met a warmed up Tiger she wouldn't know about it.

You’ve just been extremely lucky so far is all.
more so the other way around. She understands their behavior so has not been extremely lucky but she shouldnt count out her luck as there are factors not in her control and where the consequences could be grizzly
Imagine someone visiting the place where I live talking about how the residents can be sneaky if you don't watch out. The sharks aren't being sneaky. They are just being sharks
Despite the mass fear surrounding the deadly animals, the chances of being attacked and killed by a shark are one in 3.75 million, according to the International Wildlife Museum. The chances are lower than the possibility of dying by a lightning strike, a firework accident, or a stroke. Your an idiot
Yep, they're not domesticated dogs. The sad thing is that it's a tigershark wants to take a bite out of them it will and then humans will have to kill it just for being a tiger shark. Reckless.

I’m my opinion, this lady is so captivated by sharks that she truthfully lacks judgment skills. A marine biologist with a phd in shark studies would be the first person to say sharks are highly unpredictable and a diver is mere seconds away from being the good source.
Exactly. I felt like the other shark only came over because she was on top of the first shark. How we know that other shark wasnt trying to keep the first shark safe. Cant be because the human claimed she was keeping her husband safe so that must be the truth right. Ha not
She'll end up in the news. Her confidence is making her believe she's the Jane Goodall of wild sharks. We know sharks in Hawaii. When they're hungry, it'll be a bloody meat grinder. Period. The clout for content is blurring her decisions.
I KNOW. I don’t care how “well experienced” she is, what about her husband and the other guy? Do they have enough skills to defend themselves from sharks if they are the only ones to see the on coming shark?
In my head,it looked like the first shark was a juvenile, and the second shark was the mother coming to find her kid. She's like "Archie! Get away from those humans, don't you know how dangerous they are?!"😂😂 Yeah I know, they were probably both just cruising the ocean but my version made me chuckle

He definitely shouldn't be in the water with them. He's an accident waiting to happen, and people will be mad at the shark. The shark didn't sneak up on anything. They live in the water, y'all just visiting. People always act like animals in the wild are doing something wrong for people in their natural environments
Nobody is gonna be shocked or mad at any shark. When they want to they will have their way with them. F*ck around with the ocean you'll find out, just like good 'ol Titan the submarine. The moment you think you are dominant in the ocean she'll show you real quick how you arent
I think if anyone is level-headed and smart enough to know better than to blame the shark IF something like that happens, it's her. She knows the dangers and that she's trespassing.
People that live in environments where all the predators have been completely wiped out for hundreds of miles and have nothing to worry about always say the same thing. I'd say if the natural predators were reintroduced into the area you currently live in and killed a close family member of yours, you'd have a different perspective.
Imagine her swooping in for a redirect and the shark is just tired of her shit, has a reaction bite and takes half her arm. And she’s like ahhhh why didn’t it work this time!
And shows how delusional she is. She is in a situation where she can not protect him, or herself. The tigers would finish them both in a second if they chose to. She just wants to try and take the credit for something she has zero control over.
Repeatedly exposing yourself to this risk for adrenaline or video views is… not a good idea. Yeah maybe they don’t want to eat you, but continually putting yourself in their territory and having them curiously come and bump into you to see if you’re friend, foe, or food is a recipe for disaster eventually. Also, tigers are the second most dangerous shark after bull sharks, and have been known to hunt using this behavior (in pairs or groups).

Youd be surprised what confidence and knowing what you are doing can do.
She did. Because sharks are just curious most of the time and tend to bite because it. And also has poor eye sight. Maintaining eye contact and confidence makes them think you are a prey.
She is delusional in believing she has the control she does.
Unfortunately it can end in tragedy if she continues to do that
She understands the risks, it's not a matter of if but when. All it takes is for on tiger shark who has had the worst luck trying to get food for the last week and it's a wrap, that redirection will do nothing from a shark whose actually hungry.
@GameTime-yj6qv and it will end in tragedy. Some one with 0 Knowledge or credentials and with 0 experience is going to attempt to do what she does in her videos and will lose their life.
She redirects it until it turns around and bites her extremely quick while her husband watches her expire.
Hopefully she won't try it in Egypt.
Best way to avoid shark attack is to not swim with sharks. Also, ain't no way anybody going to redirect a shark when they dart at you full speed like a torpedoe, because in that moment the shark has already decided to eat you.
The better way to redirect hungry tiger sharks is to avoid swimming with those in open water and thinking that you can always redirect them by the stroke of your hands if they never had a decent meal for the last 10 days. 😂😂😂

They need to stop this before someone accidentally gets into a situation. Whilst I agree most sharks are fairly friendly, they are still wild animals and some have different personalities traits
.... she is a marine biologist. She dives with them for a living. Your critical thinking skills seem to have failed you
People are free to do as they wish.
Some die.
@@PHUCKyoutube689 she's not a herptologist and they do not die "all the time". Professionals know how to interact with the animals they're studying. And they're animals, they don't always do what they're supposed to. But just because you're afraid of sharks doesn't mean she doesn't know what she's doing.
@@nicoleb695 Literacy isn't your thing is it? I said they get bit all the time and some die. Not much difference other then one handles snakes and the other swims with sharks. She is swimming with a wild animal capable of killing her, she has been lucky so far but that luck can run out at anytime. I would say a herpetologist is at less risk as they are on land and have mobility. If a shark decides she is a threat she can't get away fast enough. This type of video is also dangerous because morons will think sharks are friendly and jump in to have a swim.

You may be fine dozens of times in a row in this situation, but all it takes is one situation where the shark decides to not take direction. When you’re in an environment where you’re not at the top of the food chain, you are never in control, regardless of how much knowledge and experience you have. You’ve just been extremely lucky so far is all.
more so the other way around. She understands their behavior so has not been extremely lucky but she shouldnt count out her luck as there are factors not in her control and where the consequences could be grizzly
Sharks can also be sneaky, and take your arm while you are not looking. Sometimes if you try to move them, they will redirect you to become food.
