    Me and sharks actually have an agreement where I don't go in their ocean and they dont show up in my bathtub, so I think I'll be okay.

      IF sharks would want to kill humans, there would be plenty more deaths each year.

    • @chrisgeorge84
      @chrisgeorge84 Год назад +7

      You ever been in a fight? Sharks gauge risk so if it doesn’t know it can kill you it might not attack cuz it doesn’t know what you are capable of. Yes they are allowing it but only because they don’t know if the fight is worth it.

      Which risks? ANY 200lbs tigershark will rip a human apart, easily.
      Still attacks are super rare and less people are killed each year by sharks, than by lightning.
      IF sharks would want us, like you said, they would kill thousands each year.
      Which means unlike lions, which do see us as prey, sharks dont. Good luck redirecting a lion

      The way you present yourself heavily influences the way the animal perceives you. Predators aren't stupid, they don't risk fights with things that don't look like prey. Humans can abuse that.
      The safest thing would technically be to just not go in shark infested water, but once you're in that situation, what she's doing here is 100% the safest move. Panicking and turning away from the shark only convinces it that you're an easy meal.

Yeah maybe they don’t want to eat you, but continually putting yourself in their territory and having them curiously come and bump into you to see if you’re friend, foe, or food is a recipe for disaster eventually.
    Also, tigers are the second most dangerous shark after bull sharks, and have been known to hunt using this behavior (in pairs or groups).
