It's so delightful to witness the local residents enjoying a clean, affluent lifestyle with modern facilities, and the camaraderie among them. The mountain lake between these towering mountain crests... even seeing this just in your video, it makes once feel tiny and just like a guest in nature. We humans like to think of ourselfs as such a pinnacle of evolution, but these mountains they have existed longe before us and they will exist long after we are gone. It puts things in perspective. I wish I might see this overwhelming beauty of nature with my own eyes one day!

I went to Lhasa when I was in college, at age 20. I remember the shock to the system when I got off the plane from Chengdu. I also recall the blinding sun. I am 41 now, quite overweight, and I don't know if I could handle such altitude. Tuiwa for sure would be out of my limit. Glad I had the chance to visit, Tibet is so wonderfully beautiful!

The people seem lovely! One of the things I enjoyed greatly in China is how eager people are to share with you, be it food or a cigarette. I've met so many generous people traveling there.

Absolutely the best China videos. I've been up 13000 feet in Switzerland but I can only imagine the difficulties experienced at more than 16000 feet. Thanks for showing us the real peaceful and harmonious China. For the people.❤
After watching so many of her previous episodes, it really drives home how taxing it must be to visit these high-up places. Even at the lower altitudes, her energy is low. At the highest altitude, she had noticeable brain fog and lethargy. My toxic trait is that I think I could do better when I can barely function at sea level.

This is an incredible video. There is a little detail which really shocks me. That instant noodle is only 5 yuan, which is pretty much the same price as the rest of the country. That is really astonishing if you know how difficult it is to transport any kind of goods to this remote place. No price gouging at all. This is a true demonstration how kind Tibetans are.
Even if they charge double, considering it's 5000 meter up and hundreds of kilometers from a big city, I won't even mind the price. A bottle of water has different price by a river and the dessert 😅

alot of the problems plaguing the world today can be attributed to the british 'divide and rule' strategy when they left their colonies. China-india and india-pakistan problems are two such examples.
As an Indian you should be keenly aware that this isn’t the Chinese homeland, but rather an independent, temporarily-occupied nation, which the Chinese use to apply geopolitical and strategic pressure on India’s northern borders. Tibet is the sacred homeland of a proud and peaceful people who protected and perfected Indian Buddhism for thousands of years while India was under assault and subjugated by aggressive and brutal Islamic and British expansion, which has always been a close partner of India in trade and philosophy, rather than a constant and perfidious geopolitical rival. The Tibetan Empire was an regional superpower during the early Middle Ages, even defeating the Tang empire and occupying its capital, until both it and the Chinese were subsumed by the Mongols, and within the religiously liberal Mongol sphere of influence, Tibet enjoyed a more or less independent and flourishing existence within an equal partnership based on the traditional “priest-patron” (མཆོད་ཡོན, chö-yön) relationship, the Mongol and Manchurian emperors being the patron, or earthly, temporal rulers of the kingdom, while the Tibetans under the Dalai Lama represented the opposite and equal half of the relationship, the priest, or heavenly, spiritual rulers of the kingdom. This relationship lasted until the Qing state collapsed, at which point Tibet declared its absolute independence once again, as many world nations did in this period, which it retained until it was brutally invaded by the Chinese in the 40s and 50s, its people and patrimony subject to genocide and cultural erasure as part of the Maoist “cultural revolution”. It remains occupied to this day, and the Chinese regime continues to oppress the Tibetans and destroy their cultural life, landmarks, and legacy, jailing, killing, or forcing into harsh state labor camps any Tibetans who exercise their natural religious freedom and loyalty to His Holiness the XIV Dalai Lama, and transporting vast amounts of ethnic Han workers and colonists to occupy and transform Tibetan cities into “Disneyfied” hollow amusement parks for tourists to make videos like this one. India didn't even exist as a country at the time of his death or legendary death, there were many individual Indian kingdoms but they were south of Indus Valley. Buddhism started in Indus Valley which was a part of Persia empire at the time. The oldest Buddhist manuscripts are found in Ghandara, a place in ancient Persia at the time, later the Greeks took over Gandhara from Persia and ruled it. Under the Greek-rule Ghandara was where first world's Buddha figure was created, this is why the oldest Buddha figures are found in Ghandara. Alexander the Great was in that region to invade India, the Greeks and Indians were enemies. Greeks didn't respect Indians, they viewed them as inferior. Persians too had also attacked Indians, the Persians captured and occupied large parts of areas now known as northern India. This is known as Aryan invasions or Aryan migration. DNA studies show northern Indians carry higher frequency of European Y-DNA, confirming ancient written records of invasions by Aryans now known as Iranians. The term Iranian came from the term Aryan. Ancient records say Buddha Gotama had blue eyes and short hair curls, he was a nomadic tribe prince who abandoned the nomadic warrior lifestyle and become a peaceful guru, this is why he was called Sakamumi, meaning teacher of Saka tribe. Saka is a well known and documented Aryan nomadic warrior tribe in a Persia ruled region. India claims Buddha Gotama was a prince in Shakya, a place of Indians in today's northeast India, but the big problem is Shakya was not a kingdom, it had no king, so therefore no prince, because Shakya was a republic. In fact, Shakya is the world's earliest republic on record. Furthermore, the oldest Buddhist manuscripts were not written in Indian sanskrit but in ancient Persian language, Kharosthi script, a writing used by Saka but not Indians.

I've been sharing this channel around wherever I can. The growth is fully deserved. She currently makes one of the most interesting and well made travel videos on RUclips in my opinion.

The government built roads and new houses for Tibetan in the above village. It involves 66 households and costs 70 million. Moving truck is taken care of by the government. Even furniture are provided for free. There are many such new villages for ethnic minorities there.

This new village is for Menba people in Tibet. Some infrastructure was still under construction but a few families moved in after water was turned on.

Absolutely the best China videos. I've been up 13000 feet in Switzerland but I can only imagine the difficulties experienced at more than 16000 feet. Thanks for showing us the real peaceful and harmonious China. For the people.❤
After watching so many of her previous episodes, it really drives home how taxing it must be to visit these high-up places. Even at the lower altitudes, her energy is low. At the highest altitude, she had noticeable brain fog and lethargy.
My toxic trait is that I think I could do better when I can barely function at sea level.

This is an incredible video. There is a little detail which really shocks me. That instant noodle is only 5 yuan, which is pretty much the same price as the rest of the country. That is really astonishing if you know how difficult it is to transport any kind of goods to this remote place. No price gouging at all. This is a true demonstration how kind Tibetans are.

11:19 The use of cow waste was interesting and new to me. I guess it makes sense for a region which has little to no trees, but has a lot of livestock.
It is essential to Tibetan daily life. You are correct, there are no trees due to harsh weather.

alot of the problems plaguing the world today can be attributed to the british 'divide and rule' strategy when they left their colonies. China-india and india-pakistan problems are two such examples.
As an Indian you should be keenly aware that this isn’t the Chinese homeland, but rather an independent, temporarily-occupied nation, which the Chinese use to apply geopolitical and strategic pressure on India’s northern borders.
Tibet is the sacred homeland of a proud and peaceful people who protected and perfected Indian Buddhism for thousands of years while India was under assault and subjugated by aggressive and brutal Islamic and British expansion, which has always been a close partner of India in trade and philosophy, rather than a constant and perfidious geopolitical rival.
The Tibetan Empire was an regional superpower during the early Middle Ages, even defeating the Tang empire and occupying its capital, until both it and the Chinese were subsumed by the Mongols, and within the religiously liberal Mongol sphere of influence, Tibet enjoyed a more or less independent and flourishing existence within an equal partnership based on the traditional “priest-patron” (མཆོད་ཡོན, chö-yön) relationship, the Mongol and Manchurian emperors being the patron, or earthly, temporal rulers of the kingdom, while the Tibetans under the Dalai Lama represented the opposite and equal half of the relationship, the priest, or heavenly, spiritual rulers of the kingdom. This relationship lasted until the Qing state collapsed, at which point Tibet declared its absolute independence once again, as many world nations did in this period, which it retained until it was brutally invaded by the Chinese in the 40s and 50s, its people and patrimony subject to genocide and cultural erasure as part of the Maoist “cultural revolution”.
It remains occupied to this day, and the Chinese regime continues to oppress the Tibetans and destroy their cultural life, landmarks, and legacy, jailing, killing, or forcing into harsh state labor camps any Tibetans who exercise their natural religious freedom and loyalty to His Holiness the XIV Dalai Lama, and transporting vast amounts of ethnic Han workers and colonists to occupy and transform Tibetan cities into “Disneyfied” hollow amusement parks for tourists to make videos like this one.
Tibet is in no way the “homeland” of this RUclipsr. It is a recently-occupied, peace-loving independent nation that shares deep cultural and historical bonds with India, while the occupier is India’s greatest and most minacious geopolitical rival.

Buddhism first appeared in Indus Valley not in India. Buddha Gotama wasn't Indian. India didn't even exist as a country at the time of his death or legendary death, there were many individual Indian kingdoms but they were south of Indus Valley.
Buddhism started in Indus Valley which was a part of Persia empire at the time. The oldest Buddhist manuscripts are found in Ghandara, a place in ancient Persia at the time, later the Greeks took over Gandhara from Persia and ruled it. Under the Greek-rule Ghandara was where first world's Buddha figure was created, this is why the oldest Buddha figures are found in Ghandara.
Alexander the Great was in that region to invade India, the Greeks and Indians were enemies. Greeks didn't respect Indians, they viewed them as inferior. Persians too had also attacked Indians, the Persians captured and occupied large parts of areas now known as northern India. This is known as Aryan invasions or Aryan migration. DNA studies show northern Indians carry higher frequency of European Y-DNA, confirming ancient written records of invasions by Aryans now known as Iranians. The term Iranian came from the term Aryan.
Ancient records say Buddha Gotama had blue eyes and short hair curls, he was a nomadic tribe prince who abandoned the nomadic warrior lifestyle and become a peaceful guru, this is why he was called Sakamumi, meaning teacher of Saka tribe. Saka is a well known and documented Aryan nomadic warrior tribe in a Persia ruled region.
India claims Buddha Gotama was a prince in Shakya, a place of Indians in today's northeast India, but the big problem is Shakya was not a kingdom, it had no king, so therefore no prince, because Shakya was a republic. In fact, Shakya is the world's earliest republic on record.
Furthermore, the oldest Buddhist manuscripts were not written in Indian sanskrit but in ancient Persian language, Kharosthi script, a writing used by Saka but not Indians.
