Hey, thanks! My setup is very simple. The Snowball records directly into audacity... from there I send the file to a friend and he EQ's it slightly and adds a touch of reverb. No fancy mixers or pre-amps involved here.

For all the people saying why doesnt he smile, I highly doubt you know how much concentration it takes to not make stupid faces while playing complex songs. It's like having to play the song and balance a plate on your head at the same time.
You dont even understand how much skill it takes to play this without making 1 weird face.
Besides, he's free to be however he wants to be.

Yea mic placement deffinantly does, I could spend like a whole day trying to find the sweet spot on my amp too just havent got it to sound excactly right might need 2 mics for that or I was just getting impatient haha.. No problem man and thanks.
Hey man awsome job as usual. Was just curious too - do you have the snowball set in position 1, 2, or 3 on the switch in the back becuase its picking up the acoustic beautifuly
Hey, glad you enjoy the video. I set the snowball on setting 1, and this seems to work fine. I find mic placement to play a huge role in sound (ie. bass and treble balance). Play around with different positions until you get the sound you want. Cheers
Wow! I purchased the Lawrence Juber book out of respect and inspiration from your playing. You have an impressive style and rythmic sense. What model Alvarez is your guitar? Great sound, tone etc. A classmate in first year dorms had an Alvarez and I have always wanted to purchase one. I would appreciate it if you would let me know your model. It really sings.

Thanks! I did take a look at Oh Darling, but I found the tab was quite different to the recorded version on LJ Plays the Beatles. I am so familiar with the studio recording that it's hard to train my ear to learn a different version. Maybe some day I'll sit down and tab out the little differences between them.
