That's the best paddle shifting from this guy right there, I've seen many reviews most didn't know how to use them properly.

Thanks for this well done and exhilarating video. I love this car. In fact, I have owned generations of the Z from the 300 , 350, and 370 series. I have also owned MB SLK, and Audi TTs. My take away is that the 370Z is a true sports car. With its 50/50 profile it is literally a street legal Go-Kart. Yes, the stick shift depends on driver preference and I prefer the Automatic. Back in the Muscle Car days we wanted a stick shift so that we could pop the clutch and the wheels could bite in at least the first three gears for extra torque. I think it was in the sixties that police cars upgraded to the turbo hydra-matic transmission center console automatic. The 370Z automatic by the way, is just as aggressive because of its no-lag torque and rev matching even without paddle shifting.
I own a red one now and me and the world smiles when I take her out for a spin. Thank you.

You can be a lot more aggressive and have less mechanical sympathy for automatics. It is strange to me that more people don't shift their autos manually but it seems like it's catching on more. Things have come a long way since you had an option of a 5 speed manual or a 4 speed slushbox but it takes a long time for reputations to change with car stuff.

Its actually better for the car if you manually shift, it puts much less stress on the trans and actually can make your car last longer

All the supercar makers are going paddleshift now 😂
