- Tested how good max soldiers would run. My battlesize was 700 and all graphical options are set to max. Not sure if the battlesize limits the amount of soldiers in that mode though. I must say that went surprisingly well.
EDIT: I have played some more and I know now for sure, there were 900 troops on the field. You dont need battlesizer.

Why don't the enemy fire or attack in custom battles?
Also, justp played couple of mathces. 450 cavalry units charging 450 line infantry is epic. I will record it. Maybe tomorrow. Im sure that owuld be interesting.

Probably because I told them to hold position and hold their fire. I did not tell them to fire at will at first.

if no one ever replied to this, it is the engine being over loaded by to many characters on screen. it is trying to limit movement to avoid a crash.

Well, you can see in the settings that I set every unit to have 50 men in them, not the standard 20. That should give me 900 men in the battle. But I am not sure if the game allows that. I also have the battlesize on 700, so maybe it only spawned 700 instead of 900. Battlesizer you can download for Warband.
they are a bit pricey, but you must pay well for the quality of the product in the long run its worth it.
After watching this, i want the game!
I am sure my computer could go even higher. Please note that I had set everything on max. EVERYTHING, even unnecessary things like shadows. But seeing how custom battles are done, I dont think I could actually get more soldiers on the field.

I charged with a couple hundred men at the beginning of the match, didn't work out too great, most got gunned down seeing as the enemy had time to reload and shoot about 3 times and when we reached them we got smashed XD
Holding down F1 when giving movement orders gives you a flag. Once you release F1 your troops move there.
Hi. Can anybody tell me how i can set a limit for cavalry class units on a commander battle server? I'm getting tired of everyone picking heavy cav, cause that's the easiest class, and i want to ban it.

When you change you position how do you make that flag come up?
I dont think the enemy charged here. Usually they dont think charging would work out that great. Sometimes they do charge, sometimes they dont. I have no special trick to make them charge though.
generally is works sweet, i've had 200 players, what my comp couldn't load was down to internet speed, you can set the graphics really low, if you want.
They should add a mode where u can add 2000 or 5000
Though its good target practice for you to fire a musket

why is it that in custom battle, you can't customize your characters face?
Im surprised it didnt crash. M&B engine isnt built to handle these situations. Nothing to do with my computer. A better comp wont improve much. Its engine limitations.

I wish you could have cannons in custom battle
the only problem is you can't start out with what you want, like i wanted to start out as a rifleman but i can't....

Hahaha, I actually know what you met. Its just that this is no mod. Its a paid dlc. Shuld be around 10 dollars or so + the cost of Warband.

Are you aware that this game needs to render and process each bullet flying through the air, the enemies reaction how it hits them the damage the enemies and allies AI thinking of what to do next and that can cripple a lot of computers because sometimes the battles if they resort to melee can break your computer once the armies clash
hi i have heard that in Mount and Blade Napoleonic Wars Dlc, the AI does nothing in the custom battles but just sit and wait. Is this true? I really need to know since i am planning on buying the game...

Yeah, the AI is...not that great.
On normal they only fire when your men charge into melee.

hahaah, nah, it aint that powerful. I used to have my specs on my youtube profile, but then youtube did something and they are now gone. I have not bothered to look them up again.
Should try how well my laptop can run it, seeing how its even more powerful, at least some specs of it are.
