Within all my tutorials I aim to help you develop your skills working within Word, Excel and Powerpoint as well as further your knowledge about the tools which are available within the Microsoft Office Software.
Throughout this channel I aim to cover simple subjects such as page numbers, margins, headers and footers, image, pictures and fonts as well as more advanced themes such as tables, mail merge, table of contents and electronic signatures.
Sharing tips and tricks which I discover along my journey is also an important aspect of this channel. I love the idea of giving people the solution to a problem they’ve been struggling with in Microsoft Word, Excel or Powerpoint.
The channel began all because of a problem I had when I had to insert images into a Word Document. I couldn’t find a way to drag and drop multiple images into a table without them expanding across the page, being cropped or interfering with the rest of the text. It wasn’t until I finally sat down one day, determined to find the solution and developed a way to solve the problem. Having found the problem quite difficult to solve without knowing how to do it I decided to make a You Tube video about it. Never once believing that many people would watch it, let alone be so grateful.
After discovering how helpful a simple tutorial could be I decided to make further videos with the aim of once again helping as many people as possible.

Marketing literature, dissertation, thesis, college paper, reports, assignments, essays, articles, letters, invoices, presentations, school work, posters, flyers, cards, greeting cards, artwork, invitations, certificates, legal papers, etc.
I have watched dozens of videos trying to understand how to do this. Some came with music. Some with super fast clicking and dragging. None came with such clear instruction. Kudos to you as well as thanks. Invaluable you are.

I was having trouble with the color matching because I didn't have the eye dropper, so I went into my logo in 3D paint and just cropped the sections I wanted (red/orange) and then I inserted them as the shapes. Worked perfectly. Thank you for this video I learned a lot and now I have the knowledge on how to use word even better than I did before :).

Very nice presentation indeed. But there is one thing i wanted to add is if the text is longer and does not fit in to one document possible to create one which automatically continues as it is to next document? Just that to avoid using same template for page 2. I would also add footer instead of address telnr etc on the page corner, which obviously automatically continues to next page.

Nicely done. What happens on page overflow? Do all the images automatically appear on page 2? I found this was not the case. I put the "blue triangles" in as Headers and Footers and that worked on a page overflow situation. But when I printed the document, the "triangles" where not aligned with the page but the margins. Any comments on this? Still, so well done. Thank you.

Thanks. I did the same, but when I click print the preview shows much different look. My header image gets stretched while I already make sure my document size is A4 and the printing size is A4.

Thanks for the instructions, nice and easy to follow. I wish my "Word 365" behaved the same way as your Word version. After creating my template, when I want to start a new document, Word doesn't seem to give me an option to use my own personal template! (unless I am not seeing it)

This is awesome can you please tell me what version you are using? I have Microsoft and Mine looks a lot different and cant seem to find some of the tools you are using. I am just guessing do to a newer version as I just bought this a few months ago. However yours is way easier and better it seems. Thank you again for the tutorial!
My version is Word for Mac so it will look a little different to the PC version.

I’d appreciate if you could prepare a video tutorial on how to save and change of logo background or even better how to create a logo using ms word which May consist of 1, safe the logo in ms word..2, change of the background. Great Vid Lisa, Thank you, 24 minute tutorial took me 2 hours to complete, but hey I did it - I do however have one question. My word document shows a complete page but when I print it off there's a small margin on top and bottom which crops the design off? My version of word is slightly different, and ideas I know it's something to do with the margins but so far haven't got my head round it.

Sometimes it depends on your printer settings too! Do you have borderless printing? It's a difficult one to diagnose.

But i have a slight problem with detecting and using the hues from my logo. To me it does not appear any icon and a circle to detect the colour. I think it might be likewise if I use a different microsoft word issue. Please share the edition year of the one u use here, please :)

I don't have the option to use the eyedropper tool. Is this a new feature or perhaps a Mac vs PC issue?

thanks for the great video, after trying the above and printing, the blue part on top left border and bottom right border cuts off during printing, anyway to fix that, the top and bottom doesnt cut off, only the left and right borders but off, thanks
Trying grouping all the shapes together. If not, it's difficult to say as it may be the way your printer is set up. Borderless printing, margins etc :)
