I discovered Noel Cowards plays later in life, and read his autobiography by his long faithfull secretary Coley, and found what a genius he was dedicating his life to the Theatre.
FanofBewitched I have heard the audio play w Bill Nighy & Helena Bonham Carter (delish), excerpts w Coward & Gertie (staggeringly elegant), & just this afternoon the 1931 film Private Lives w Robert Montgomery & Norma Shearer. Quite good! I watch & listen to as many plays & films by & often starring him as possible. I love them all.

Many thanks for posting, M.
Coward & Lawrence were lovers of soul, not of body. Better still.
