Yes the chicken pecks the red light. I am here from the AGT video I saw earlier. I knew the chicken had to be pecking a light or something it saw. I see the drummer chicken in a thumbnail I will click on next.
The chicken still had to learn to peck the red lights for a reward, and the chicken is working under a good bit of delayed gratification for her efforts.
It is a trained learned response, and it is a good job of it by the trainers and the chicken.

I am a piano teacher. 2 things to say here: 1, the chicken obviously remembers some parts of the tune, as seen from 1:25 and other moments, when the chicken tries to play certain notes before they are lit up (and the overall flow of looking ahead into the next area where notes will lit up). 2, this chicken outperforms at least 3% of human children, data obtained from 10 years of teaching .

The “O Mío Babbino Caro” is a soprano aria of the opera Gianni Schiccihi in 1918 by Giacomo Puccini which
is an absolute masterpiece, so very beautifully written and sung by Amira Willighagen and so many other sopranos, tenors and opera singers.
And this marvelous chicken did a superb job with the piano hitting the correct keys. He is very talented, exceptional and beautiful creature, remarkably intelligent who learned how to play this exquisite song. Love him, he is a prodigious chicken. Hats off to him. Just do some good ear training. You’ll be playing better than that in no time. If you can hear the notes, you can play the notes.

This is a chicken worth her feed and has good taste in music. She made me tear up. I love that song.

same and i regularly tear up when i re-visit this video. There is some perfect innocence with the keyboard tone and the chicken playing. I've seen a different type of video about chickensw where a farmer put a xylophone in the chicken enclosure and sure enough several chickens enjoy playing with the xylophone on a regular basis to produce notes of music for long sessions, litteraly without a doubt for fun exactly like this chicken except this one is not improvising, she is performing a masterpiece. I am absolutely sure Mozart who himself had a cannary bird who inspired him a theme would have loved to watch this and maybe would have teared up too.
