    Josh did have an up and down game but there were a lot of plays that should have went their way where there were drops. ball hitting the ground before a catch when it was put in a place that could have been caught. Shakir had that long pass and Knox had the TD that got called off. The 2nd interception was on him but the first one was an offensive miscommunication. This could have easily been a clean matchup if it wasn’t for Miami havingan insane run right before half time scoring 10 points. • @samueljenson8473
    @samueljenson8473 Год назад +8

    Of course Nick uses “Fumbles” and not “Fumbles Lost”.
    This year, Josh Allen rushed 124 times for 762 (6.1 YPC) yards and 7 touchdowns. He also fumbled 8 times, losing 2 of them.
    This year, Patrick Mahomes rushed 61 times for 358 yards (5.86 YPC) and 4 touchdowns. He also fumbled 5 times, losing 0 of them.
    So Mahomes would fumble more than Allen if they rushed the same amount. I went back and watched every single fumble, and the only reason Mahomes has 0 lost is that his offensive line is great at finding the fumble - it has nothing to do with him.
    I’m not even a Josh Allen guy, but I can’t stand to see Nick use biased numbers - what I provided is exactly what he would argue if the numbers were reversed. Allen has to do more, but higher numbers don’t actually mean worse averages.

    • @GoodMortySmith
      @GoodMortySmith Год назад +1

      Your missing the point, if Josh Allen was that guy with his arm why even run him as much as they do? If he and Mahomes are on the same level throwing why cost the team with turnovers at the WORST possible times running a QB when the TEAM is loaded and can win regardless? Mahomes throws the ball more and has less INT's than Allen but should have more according to your logic right, also if he ran the same he would have MORE rushing TD's than Allen smh. Team wise, the Bills still have a better team but with the QB play you can't tell. And his FIRST fumble in 2022 was in the Shotgun up 30-7 with a 144.2 passer rating and 3 TD's lol... not running through LB's with an interception already... and he threw TD #4 after the fumble recovery DUE TO HIS LINE GETTING SMOKED that led to the fumble in the first place smh... Nice try... don't know how you missed that one when: " I went back and watched every single fumble"...

    • @irshkashirkle
      @irshkashirkle Год назад

      @thedarkside5347 I wouldn't call the bills offense loaded. Diggs is great, but MacKenzie and Davis have been inconsistent all year with the amount of dropped passes they've had, and they've only recently started reincorporating Knox and the RBs back into the gameplan. So when for the majority of the year you're only real option is a double covered diggs, josh will feel like he has to run it himself, hence the higher rushing stats. As for if Josh and pat are the same from a passed perspective, I wouldn't say that's particularly true either. I think Josh takes it in terms of arm strength, where pats decision making makes him stand out. Both can throw it on a rope though.

    • @GoodMortySmith
      @GoodMortySmith Год назад

      @@irshkashirkle I agree, the bills team is much different than in the preseason and not the powerhouse they were early on but as a roster top to bottom I’d still choose them over kc. Still, the bills have 3 more drops as a team than KC and idk who Pat throws to when Kelce is doubled all game every game and Juju is either hurt or inconsistent 🤷‍♂️. I’m NOT downplaying Allen’s productivity and value for his team but it seems the Bills run a game plan suited for Lamar Jackson. If you go back 20 years 95% of the champs have had a top 8 ppg defense. The QB cannot turn the ball over and you have success. Big Ben, Rodgers, Russell, Brady (more than anyone in history), Brees, Foles 😂, ALL had top PPG defenses when they won, 1st or 2nd for most.

    • @irshkashirkle
      @irshkashirkle Год назад

      @thedarkside5347 well, thankfully the bills d sits at #3 behind the niners and jets, so we have that box checked at least! And I think pats first go to being kelce actually explains a lot. Kelce is usually good for his YAC, right? Meaning he's the short pass option who then runs through/around people as TE do. It also means he's probably the first receiver to get in position, and in relatively short order since he's likely the closest receiver to the line of scrimmage. Diggs on the other hand is supposed to be used for the deep ball, forcing Allen to wait precious seconds for him to get in position, and if that doesn't work out, it's scramble time as his o line crumbles around him, something that mahomes doesn't have to worry about nearly as much. Honestly, BOTH teams would benefit from balancing a ground game in, but we'll see how they adjust throughout the next couple weeks!
