With regards to the p1 replacement I was recently told a few things about it from someone with an allocation and another connection. With will be over 1000hp with a new twin turbo v8 hybrid. The production will be 325-350 and the new wing will be something never seen before. It was described to me as an active aero wing that extends then slides and flips over itself to a swan neck wing. McLaren is also using the tagline “the fastest ever.” Which I find very interesting. Just to clarify this is unconfirmed but from people who I’d classify as reliable

Personly I think the McLaren Elva looks better with the front glass than without it because that Active Air Management System (AAMS) AKA “a windshield made of air” setup breaks up the beautiful lines of the front of the car.
The McLaren that "put them on the map" was the F1, we are talking about modern times here.. For the atelier Bugatti that car was EB101 but I don't want to go now counting oems.. iconic brands - iconic cars 🚘

Unfortunately, despite my love of the car, I don't think it'll appear much more on the channel because despite persisting with it, the last 3 1M videos all performed really poorly. While I will keep going with it off camera, there's clearly much less interest in it for videos sadly.

We had to catch a flight, but as you see right at the end, we loaded the car onto a transporter to take it back to base. Miami storms don't tend to do that, but obviously not ideal! Leaving it unattended isn't that big a deal, it's a car, it still locks.

I gotta make a comment about Shmee's videos. It's really odd. I've started the last few uploads and wondered if he filmed it with a potato. Turns out RUclips put's it on "Auto" resolution, which is 480p, so I go into the settings and change it to 1080p60, and it plays flawlessly and looks great. Why is it putting me into 480p if 1080 is not the slightest problem? Just putting that out there I know it's not Shmee's fault.
Thanks for the tip. Wondered why Tim's face was all blurred out in the beginning. Puppi's reflection on the helmet was clearer than he was. Changing the red fixed it.
The wind screen is still going to get dirty so you’re going to use your window washer so you need windscreen wipers simples. It’s a bit ridiculous though not having some kind of roof for these occasions don’t you think Tim :)
So the air active management system AAMS never really worked so they put a windshield now 😅 In the early road tests of it you could see driver's face being blown by the wind all over, which wasn't supposed to happen as there was supposed to be an oasis of calm because the AAMS would create like a virtual bubble for the cabin, in reality the oasis of calm in theory didn't work
"senna that I USED to own?!?" I've fallen out of the loop with shmee! But the only comments I ever wrote on shmee's videos was begging him to try a Bugatti instead of the senna. It just seemed way too visceral to enjoy in day to day life. Hope he did alright out of selling it though.

So McLaren re-created LaFerrari's wing, witch propably no one has never seen in action, and made it better.

I was always confused why a lot of people complained about the lack of a windshield with the Elva but not the Ferrari Monza SP1/2
It's down to the feeling of what the car is supposed to be; this is a mid-engine supercar, whereas the Monza is a front engine GT
19:25 a note on those windshield wipers. if you go fast enough in a convertible whilst its raining you will not get wet.
With the windscreen, do you think it's more comparable to Daytona SP3 than the Monza SP1/SP2?
