@@lalibop off course he is an npc not a real character, he can't be too OP and smart enough, and Candeez also has many Weaknesses like: she can't move (bad feel anyway, i prefer an attack-style shield like Mitachurl ) , she can't maintain the shield for a long time, and after that she is vulnerable too

It become worse when the enemy itself is the element like slime and those hydro mimic. Honestly why dont they make it stronger against the element counterpart. Would be much more useful
@@Alvis183 Raiden slash oneshots anything that isn't inside the shield or using a burst I frame with heals after. If you simply block the attack, you fall to 1 HP and the game registers you as dead right after the slash.

The shield effectiveness of Characters that wield actual shield should scale with how much Health they have. The reverse of Hutao. Because when you have battle fatigue, you won't be able to hold your shield against strong blows.
I came here to see how Candace's shield works, when I first heard that intense laugh from Childe after the goofy ahh whale for the first time (I didn't ascend my AR yet lol) I feel like "Damn, that's some throat soring laugh there."
Ofc her shield is strong but notice there are two geo dudes there in the party. This gives geo buff and increases shield strength. But still Candace is the best!!! :>

I mean, they used geo resonance for shield buff and hydro for hp buff but that 250% RES against hydro dmg alone could probably hold up the shield but thats just my theory alright
