I got 2 minutes in and then realised I have no opinion at all about any of these celebrities, so these guys are just going to inform 90% of my thoughts about them

The logic behind weird al is so wrong. Yes his most famous songs are the parodies. But he has just as much, if not more, original content. In fact, when he last toured, he made it a point to tell everyone that he would not be performing any covers, only his originals.
I think it's basically right actually. People often think parodies are cringe and Wierd Al is most associated with parodies.
I can't think of any other reason for that lopsided ratio. Although it could be because comedy is often hit or miss for people.

It could just be he got older. If he stopped at Lynnwood he'd have a perfect record but the "Perform this Way" and "First World Problems" songs felt like Facebook boomer timeline pieces. But I'd still say I like him. I'm guessing people are using the I don't like him button as a I don't know button since 8 years since a release is a century in the internet age

I hate how politicized everything is nowadays. I wish everything didn't have to be a question of who you voted for to decide if you like that person or not. Politics are so dumb and should not cause this divide. People should be allowed to have differing opinions without thinking less of them. I know I'm not perfect, but I try to think of people equally.
