I (M43) saw a child (G7) in the street playing with a ball, the child dropped the ball and it rolled towards me so I proceeded to curb stomp the kid. I then realized that maybe I took it too far so I offered to buy the child an Atrioc Sub as I knew they watched him because they are a child. Even though I did this the child still told their Karen mother (W39) who then called the police and arrested me. I am now stuck in a jail cell. AMITA?

Something to keep in mind when you see Aita everyone caters there story to seem better on their behalf. Always assume the situation is slightly worse than they say, then make the decision if they are the asshole or not.
I wonder what it would be like if we submit AITA stories to Stanz and he has to guess which is real and which we made up
3rd story if real I don't think he is the ass hole. He was thinking about asking her to move out but never said he did. He works 11 hours per day 7 days a week goes to the gym and cooks her food that he doesn't get to eat and gets insulted by her over the food. Just because she is pregnant doesn't mean he isn't allowed to be angry about this.
I was thinking the same thing, I think Stanz was judging it under the assumption that the guy was lying about some or all of it (which he likely was) but as written I don't see him being the asshole. Loyalty tests like that are massive betrayals of trust and it kinda felt like he glossed over that a bit.
That's kinda the problem with aita. You only see one side of the story. And if you're familiar with the subreddit you'd know how these stories are always just kinda dumb and sugar-coated.
In recent years the subreddit has kinda become a meme to laugh at for exaggerated stories where it is obvious OP is not entirely telling the truth.

Hi, woman here. I’ve shared a bathroom w my brother my entire life. First off, as far as I know it’s common courtesy to wrap pads in toilet paper (at least that’s what I’ve done my whole life). Don’t know about tampons but I don’t think it’s as common. I feel like the whole issue is the family didn’t have any communication. With my sibling, we have our designated areas for where our stuff goes, and that’s that. As well, I don’t really think either of us give a shit what goes in the waste bin. I genuinely believe this was an issue of the sons not be comfortable living with women lol.
Also about the pregnancy thing: it’s literally a chemical reaction going on in your body that makes women have mood swings during periods AND pregnancies. Estrogen and progesterone levels fluctuate which makes women become a lot more irritable and stressed. So no, we’re not just “going psycho” and killing puppies- your body is having a very normal reaction to a literal human growing inside you lol.
yeah, i think it's at least somewhat reasonable to be like "hey can you wrap it up with some toilet paper?" if i was living with another woman and she didn't wrap her pads/tampons up i would be a little annoyed, at least. even just living by myself i don't just leave uncovered bodily fluids in the trash can, since it's gross to look at, lol.
that being said, "it's my house and what i say goes" is fuckin rude, and he def should have known better than to suggest flushing tampons down the toilet or extremely wasteful stuff like "diaper bags??" because he just comes across as an absolute fool
@@norahporter4075 the whole “my house, my rules” line is even more inflammatory when you realise that the stepdaughter moved into the house likely with little say. It was the stepdaughter’s mother that fell in love with the OP and while I’m sure the stepdaughter and her mother had spoken about it, she likely had little choice in selling the house and moving.
What annoys me more is how a 15, 16, 18 and at least 36 year old (im thinking the minimum for having a kid is probably 18 so 18 years old plus the oldest’s age is 36) men can be so ignorant and rude. They should all know women have periods by that age, oldest and father at least, so shouldn’t be a surprise or enigma that there would be related sanitary products that have to be disposed of. On top of this, she said the sons leave skid marks which is literally the thing the father criticised her for - leaving disgusting bodily waste in sight of others. I can’t imagine living with one person who leaves skid marks, never mind 3. Its disgusting and shows a complete disregard to the comfort and hygiene of others.
The loyalty test was a bridge too far to me for the third story, tbh. The mood swings and food preferences changing are understandable, the loyalty test is a major betrayal of trust. I think he definitely has a right to be upset about that.

Last one, maybe it’s just personal boundaries but a loyalty test would really really upset me in a relationship to the point of probably ending things, although in my situation I would have probably talked with my girlfriend/wife at that point about that boundary so it was mutually understood that that type of distrust is not okay, but I also would stop cooking meals for the both of us if they were constantly belittled. Idk but that loyalty test is a major major step over the boundaries for me
With that period one I think there’s always underlying issues when people make a divide between the kids by being like “my kids”
I think that's normal when the stepdaughter is 19 years old and they've been living together for only 6 months. It's easy to integrate younger children into a mixed family and to accept them as your kids even if they're your step-kids. But a 19-year-old likely isn't going to accept you calling her your daughter, and it would be weird for any stepfather to suddenly start doing.

I’m a pro photographer and complete strangers have fed and treated me better than that first person’s ‘friend’. Wedding days are brutal, not getting water or food is insane. But also, this is why you don’t agree to do someone’s wedding if you’re not a professional. He had zero protections, could potentially be legally liable now, and will probably need a whole new friend group. I wouldn’t have deleted the photos, but I’m not gonna judge him for it.
Over in NH one of our radio stations has a series that is very much like the multicultural thing you were saying towards the end! They say it, give their 2 cents and open the phones to calls. I’m 19, I’ve been heard, there’s older people, couples, everything. It’s weekly and a ton of fun :))

The one about the period products: I think it’s not unreasonable to ask to wrap it in toilet paper. Sure, it’s normal, and period products belong in the trash, but you put it out of view. It’s like leaving a turd in the toilet. It belongs there, it’s normal to poop, but it is gross to leave it for others to see.

I'm not saying the dad isn't the asshole here in the period story, but the daughter was def an asshole too. Also, she could be a bit more discreet with throwing them away by placing some toilet paper on top or something similar. I used to have a lot of bloody noses when I was younger and would throw away my tissues in the trash making a bloody mess and my siblings were grossed out by it as well even though I couldn't help it and after being asked all I had to do was place some extra toilet paper in the trash and everyone was happy. Also, if the father wasn't exaggerating then the daughter was definitely being the asshole calling both him and his son's names while living in his house, especially at the age of 19. Blatant disrespect should never be allowed

Duude, this was a surreal video to watch. Cause I really liked the commentary (when is stanz not fun to watch) but disagreed hard with the takes.
In the first post I definitely thought ESH. The groom for obvious reasons but the photographer did delete all the photos on what is culturally a day full of them to remember by. Often those wedding photos can become a couple's most treasured possessions. Totally stop talking to them after, leave the wedding there and then or whatever. But deleting the photos was a dick move. An understandable move but still asshole behaviour. There are other ways of standing up for yourself
And on the third one, pretending it's not fake, I was totally in the NTA camp. Trust test are gross and cruel. It's normal to have body image issues while pregnant, talk about them and process them with your partner. Don't manipulate them with some mind gamey trick to get your own self worth up. If he was to kick her out the that's the end of the relationship for sure but he can still take care of the baby and be in their life. And that choice would be completely understandable . You don't have to stay in a bad relationship cause there's a baby on the way

I agree with all of the conclusions ATA posts but at the end where on the last post you read and talked about the opinions and conclusions of others there were some things I disagreed with, and I know that sounds pretty self important but your probably not reading this anyway soooo… Anyway, I think that when you were talking about other peoples opinions that you went into thinking that you WERE right and that if anyone else had another opinion that they were wrong. This IS a problem but it’s not an extremely big one admittedly but you also started deconstructing others arguments with comments about how they didn’t make any sense and that they were wrong but you (I dont know if this was on purpose or not) left some details out that changed a large part of the argument. I don’t have any delusions that this is reaching you but if you do happen to see this then please just think about this… or not it’s not my job to tell you what to do. Also I dont actually think your a bad person at all but there were just some things that irked me about your video.
