So? Who cares? Just because you’re a veteran doesn’t mean you get to treat everyone around you like trash. That’s not how life works.
It's one thing to be an actual combat veteran suffering from PTSD and being aggressive because of it. It's a whole different thing to be a roided out and aggressive meth head who either falsely claimed to be a veteran, or was mistaken for his brother, an actual veteran. Whatever the case may be, being a veteran does not excuse you from judgement or consequences. There is no part of this scenario in which being a veteran even remotely mitigates. I hope that all addicts are able to find help, but using an addict's possible status as a veteran to justify their drug abuse and their behaviour while on drugs is not helping them at all. It's also not fair to all the actual law abiding veterans who are genuinely suffering from PTSD.

When you've seen and experienced the atrocities of combat and understand that none of it is necessary but to serve the greed of those individuals in powerful positions, you're going to have a whole new perspective on people, life and the laws that have been created by those corrupt politicians.
I am speaking from personal experience as a combat veteran of both Iraq and Afghanistan. One of my good friends is living with repeated nightmares from what he had witnessed and experienced in Kosovo.
