I'm crying because me and my sister would always watch this every Saturday and Sunday 🥺 she's my older sister by the way she was 12 and I was 4 this brings back so many memories by the way she's 17 now and I'm 9 we changed so much 💓 I still love her and we just finally stopped watching steven universe one day and I was sad ☹️ so I watched by myself but it's not the same and my childhood show is ending 😭 I'm sad she's in high school now and I'm in 4th grade my sister is gonna go to college I don't want her to go

My oldest sibling is almost done with Highschool, he’s on his last year. I’m scared whats gonna happen, we hardly get to talk one on one with full and meaningful conversations anymore. It’s usually small conversations and nothing else.
It worries me, will he stick around? Will he leave to get a job, or go to college or a university?
I know it’s inevitable, and he’s gonna have to go eventually. But I’m scared what’s gonna happen, not even just for him, I have two other older siblings as well.
I’m the youngest out of all of them and I’m gonna be the last to experience it all. What if they won’t be able to be there when I need them the most?
I know I still have a lot of years until I’m an adult, and it might even feel nice to be able to do things on my own, it’s just worrisome to think about.
I assume your in 5th grade now?
Anyways, I’m nearing the end of middle school pretty soon, so I hope everything goes well 🫶

This song is very calming, but for some reason it makes me think about the future a lot.
Though usually whenever I think about the future, I’m always scared,
I still am, it’s just different when I’m listening to this I suppose?
It’s a different type of scared, I don’t know if it’s a calm-scared sort of thing, but it makes me have this feeling that I don’t understand.
But I know that some part of it is happiness, I know that sounds VERY cheesy, but honestly I don’t care anymore.
I wanna be able to do things and not care about what people think of it, that’s what I really want.
Things have been tough recently, so I guess that’s part of it?
I also wanna be able to stick up for myself when I feel helpless compared to other people from now on.
I know it takes time, so I’m gonna keep practicing, and practicing, however long it takes.
But part of me wonders, that even if I have that, will things ever be good enough for me to be satisfied? I don’t know, I’ve always thought that if I had a different life, things would be better.
I know that it sounds iffy, because literally every person has their own issues, so it probably wouldn’t be much easier.
I think what I really want, is those cute slice of life shows, or what appears to be but it actually has this whole thing that goes into depth and actually is pretty sad, except it’s just the slice of life part
Like Steven Universe! Or even tbhk if whoever is reading this knows it, I’d really like to be Yashiro, to have so much more figured out, and more simple problems?
All I want, is to just have a slice of life story. I know theres always gonna be some bad, but it’s just what I always wish to happen.
Tomorrow is Monday, I’m probably not gonna have the same feeling I have now, but I’m gonna try to change that by listening to this again!
