Why is Destiny arguing & attacking Richard Lewis who actually wrote a very well-informed piece and made a welcomed speech? Destiny himself is slandered all the time & should be aware of the damage of fake news, cancel culture & declining standards of journalism. But in this convo he just sets up random strawmen like "all journalists are terrible" and "Kotaku is always garbage" rather than having a real talk with Richard which would've been interesting to listen to. "have all our limbs" i don't know i am a left below the knee amputee and i would choose that life over his situation any day I couldn't even imagine living with the pain shame and guilt he must have to face....
yeah losing my leg sucked but it saved my life and gave me a new healthy life I am so insanely lucky to have after being sick my entire life trying to do everything possible to keep it when i should of just had it done as a little kid but its a hard choice to make but if anyone reading that ever faces that situation remember it is not death, the world is not over you are fully capable of living a happy full life. If i can do it, anyone can.
Prosthesis today are amazing the below the knee prosthetic out perform human limbs so there's a lot of misplaced pity in society when it comes to such a thing, however everyone reacts to different levels of stress and types of stress differently so I guess its all subjective

You're right. I think he misspoke when he said "at least we have all our limbs" and acted like his situation was better than theirs. I think most people would agree from a moral standpoint it would be better to lose a limb than kill 2 friends (even accidentally) by driving while intoxicated. Bravo to you for taking ownership over your situation. Also fwiw I faint when blood is taken, even though intellectually I know i shouldn't be scared so you're right everyone is different haha.
