3. Intentions matter to an extent but they arent the end all be all of making judgements. For example, if want to kill a bee thats about to sting someones face, and since im insanely stupid, i shoot the bee and the bullet goes through the person's skull and kills them....you can say my intentions were pure but the consequences of my actions are unacceptable.
4. No its not about deplatforming bigoted people, its about deplatforming bigoted speech/content. Its the latter that actually contributes to reinforcing bad attitudes towards people that are already not doing well socially. A bigoted person that says nothing doesnt affect these people nearly as much as a non bigoted person that sounds like the former.
