Smartphone manufacturers (including Apple) are known to fake Benchmarks and those should not be an indicative or a decision factor to purchase a phone, instead you should look at what you value or want and look at a phone with those desires in mind (camera, screen, resolution...etc), and in that regard Apple products lose comparatively to several other Android alternatives all the way from the color accuracy of their screens, the refresh rate, resolution, camera and much more... Saying that Android is bloated is blatant missinfo as well, even the bloated shit that the OS Samsung delivers isn't nearly as convoluted as what you get with any iOS product, unless you decide to buy a random phone running MiUI from Xiaomi that is full of chinese botnetware. If you value a clean OS, then you get phones that ship with a stock Android ROM, there are plenty of those, the one I've been using for two years (Essential Phone) is one of those, had literally nothing installed or running in the background.
