Hi mike Pulmonary hypertension wouldn’t causes concentric hypertrophy? If it was eccentric hypertrophy it would have make sense but how does concentric hypertrophy cause tricuspid regurgitation? Little confuse here Love your content by the way ❤
heyy Dr Mike. Recently gave my Step 1 and wanted to thankyou for your content. Plus I'd like to mention how there were numerous risk factors associated questions on the exam...!!
Hello Dr Mike, I am a little confused if you mean Left ventricular hypertrophy or left ventricular dilation. In video you referred it as systolic dysfunction, where as LVH is a diastolic dysfunction. Moreover, as far as what I know ischemic cardiomyopathy can not lead to ventricular hypertrophy. To me, Ischemic cardiomyopathy leading to dilation of heart and systolic dysfunction makes perfect sense. It would be great if you could clarify my doubt. Having said that, I am extremely grateful ul for you efforts to teach medicine to students all around the world Thanks in advance :)

LVH is unrelated to systolic or diastolic dysfunction. Can be seen in either
Excellent clip. Thanks.
