- Welcome to the final installment of this batch of videos filmed in 2022. A 6 hour transit can only mean one thing, food. I am joined by my cousin, Joyce. Our visit will concentrate around Haymarket and it's immediate vicinity where a plethora of dining options will guarantee you will not go hungry.
So follow me on this gastronomical journey through one of Sydney's most delicious suburbs.

Yummmm! Another great review, Ryan. I grew up in Sydney and now living on the NSW Central Coast. Unfortunately as I have mobility issues now I don’t get into town anymore. So, I’ll live vicariously through you and your videos lol. 👍❤️
Glad I can help. Thanks for watching!
Great choice for Yum Cha in Sydney Chinatown. The Eight is top notch!
Trust my cousin to take me there!
You are a delight to watch 😊. Thank you for your video!
Thanks for popping by! Cheers ...
Wow central station brings back lots of memories. It's good to see it's renovated abit. Market city so much to eat 😋. Yum cha is the best in Aussie!! Love it so much! Thanks for the video Ryan. Hope you had a great time there!
I know right? Some of the best yumcha experiences of mine are actually Sydney, not Hong Kong.
I forgot how bloody funny you are! 😂
Thanks Ryan ! I will be travelling to Sydney this weekend .I will be staying near Haymarket .I will try and get to Enjoy Mie !
Oh enjoy! I'll be in Sydney again tomorrow night so I'll be in Haymarket with cousin again. We're heading to Hochiak. Then I'm off to Seoul the next day. 😏
@@ryansofly I have been to Hochiak a couple of times .First class Malaysian ! I also like Kopitiam in Harris St .More basic , but very nice Malaysian Food.
@@johncurtain2516 oh nice! I'm stuck out in Mascot, unfortunately. Gonna have a quick dinner and rest up for tomorrow's long haul. Enjoy Haymarket and Enjoy Mie! Lemme know what you thought of it!
@@ryansofly I really liked Enjoy Mie .Delicious Spicy Chicken. Thanks again for the recommendation ! I am sure you'II love Seoul .Just as interesting as Tokyo .And you won't want for food !
@@johncurtain2516 oh glad you enjoyed it! Cheers! Yeah Seoul read awesome. Jody arrived in Bangkok last night
Hi, Ryan I'm from Adelaide too, I can't wait to try yum cha with my children soon to yummy 😋 😊
Awesome! Where in Adelaide do you live?
I was hoping you would go through Haymarket (rather than Chinatown) and visit ThaiTown, KoreaTown and Japantown
Next trip!
Enjoyed the video and you are SO not a coffee snob - life is too short for bad coffee!
Ha... Yeah thanks! 😏
Hi Ryan im from Adelaide myself can't wait to try myself thanks ❤my oldest daughter Maria and my youngest son Damian live in Sydney they must tey too yummy 😊
Oh hey! Sounds great! Yeah Sydney is blessed with some of the most interesting places to eat in. Thanks for watching... Cheers!
Me personally, no for Yum Cha. Wayyyyyy overpriced........... btw I'm trying that coffee place tomorrow!!!
What are the languages you speak Ryan, I think you mentioned 6 before? English, Malay, Cantonese, Tagalog(?), Indonesian...... Great one liners as always🤣
Lol yumcha is expensive? Where have you been eating? Let's see, I speak Singlish, malay, Indonesian, mandarin, Cantonese, Thai, hokkien and french. I've mostly lost the ability to speak those languages formally, but just basic conversation these days.
Good video Ryan I have done yum cha in Hong Kong
Now you can't get more authentic than that! I absolutely love yumcha in HK.
Why couldn’t you get a direct flight from Adelaide to Melbourne?
This video is part of a wider series. It was to film the sleeper service on the XPT train between Sydney and Melbourne.

mmmimm,, she was certainly hungry this day !!!
When is she ever not hungry?
When she’s asleep . When is your next business class flight ?
@@stevenjones1344 I'm in seat 1A, waiting for push back on JETSTAR as we speak. SYD-ICN.
@@ryansofly enjoy your holiday hun.
Enjoy your kimchi 😁😁
I can’t wait for myself to visit Sydney - including Chinatown , in two weeks .. before flying premium economy Philippine Airlines
Enjoy PR! I loved flying them.
Yum Cha not very adventurous ??
Hahahaha... Mate, suppose its all about perspective. Yumcha to someone like me is as adventurous as white bread to a westerner.
Really great video Ryan . You managed to bring back some very special memories for me as I worked in that area when I came to Australia to live way back then .It’s changed a lot , but the old Paddy’s Market is still operating , but I must admit , it’s no Adelaide Central Market is it , which I love . Cheers mate and happy and safe travelling .
Paddy's is good for what it is. Lots of cheap eats there too!
@@ryansofly . Yes I agree , there’s some ok tucker to be had , the fruit and veg stalls are ok , the fish market is rancid though. The shite knock off branded stuff and naff Aussie souvenirs which almost every other stall sell are crap.
@@davidcartwright5591 hahahahaha I admit, I have not ventured into Paddy's since I live in OZ now. As a tourist, I've done my rounds of buying fridge magnets, clip on koalas, and sheep skin from there.
oral stretch marks??? lol....
Nice video mate 😊 I've Subscribed here and on Insta. Cheers Don, Perth WA (Dons Shed and Xplor Overland)
