Hi I’ve seen your video regarding the Good Molecule Discoloration Correcting Serum and I’m amazed at the result. Congratulations to you. Anyway I have some questions regarding the serum. Well my main concern really are the dark spots in my face and so far I’m currently using in this order of usage 1) The Ordinary Argireline 2) The Ordinary Alpha Arbutin 3) Olay Illuminating Radiance Niacinamide Serum followed by Olay Illuminating cream. My question is if I use The Good Molecule Serum when can I use it according to my present regimen? Should I use it first, 2nd 3rd 4th or last? Thanks so much for the help.🙏🏻
Hi! The results are awesome! I'd recommend swapping out your current serum with the Good Molecules serum since you don't need to use more than 1 serum in your skincare routine. If you don't want to completely take out the serum you're currently using from your skincare routine, maybe you can swap it out in the morning or at night rather than completely taking it out. @@DaniSmith405 I see. Thank u. I m using only alpha arbutin for my melasma right now. So I m thinking of adding Tranexamic too for nice n quick result. Thank u
Hi! That's a great question! I would say that it depends on the curology formula that you have. So the main ingredients in this toner and serum are tranexamic acid and niacinamide so just consider those when looking into if it's okay to mix with your curology active ingredients. You just want to be careful with mixing actives since some actives used together can cause irritation. You just want to be careful with mixing tranexamic acid with intense actives. I hope this helps!

Hi! I would say you may get the best results with the least irritation if you alternate when you use them. For example one day, use the Discoloration Correcting Serum and then the next day use the Tretinoin.

For today's video, I'm sharing my results from using the Good Molecules Niacinamide Brightening Toner and Discoloration Correcting Serum! I used this products for a little over 2 months! In this video, I show you before and after pictures and let you know if I think they're worth trying! What are your favorite products to help fade acne marks or hyperpigmentation? Let me know in the comments! ☺
I just started using both and the lighter parts of my face is brighter than other part. Do u believe this is apart of the process of even out my tone or should I stop using.
Hmm I'm quite sure what you mean but I would think that more will even out over time as you use the products. I like to give products around 3 months to really see results, especially when it comes to fading dark spots and evening out the skin tone because that can take time. ☺️
Heyy I don’t know if you’ll see this but I was just wondering what type of skin you have because I have oily/normal skin and ask do think I should just buy the toner and serum as a set or the serum itself would be fine too?
Hi! Yes I did! I believe I was using the Logically Skin Acne Cleanser and the Pyunkang Yul Moisture Cream but since the cleanser is a wash off treatment and the moisturizer is a simple, gentle moisturizer, I know that these 2 good molecules products are the reason for the results that I got with fading post acne marks since those are the treatment steps in the skincare routine that I was using. :)
Hey so I was wondering since you had more dark spots on the skin, would this work with red mark? Been struggling with red marks for sometime and I’m trying to change that
@@DaniSmith405 so does it works with Postinflammatory Erythema? cause I was doing some research and I’m not to sure if this will work with my red marks/ postinflammatory erythema. Did you have red marks? or did you have dark spots?
I hope it works for you too! As with any skincare, just give it some time to work! At least test it out for 1 month to give the products a chance to work and for your skin to adjust to using them. I'd also recommend taking before and after pictures! That way, it will be easier for you see if it has worked for you!
You can, however, the good molecules discoloration correcting serum also contains niacinamide so it may not really be necessary to use another niacinamide serum with it. :)
Hi! I looked up the ambi fade cream because I hadn't heard of it before but it looks like that cream is not a bleaching agent. I'm not sure which one you're using (I saw that they have a few) but if you're just using the one where the active ingredient is niacinamde, then it would be okay to combine that with the good molecules Discoloration serum though the good molecules serum already has Niacinamide in it so you wouldn't necessarily need to use the fade cream with it.
oh they updated the product to remove the hydroquinone but i still have a tube that isnt expired that ive been using that has an active hydroquinone ingredient so is that okay to use with the good molecules discoloration serum? @@DaniSmith405
I filmed this video quite awhile ago so I don't remember the exact cleanser I was using when I was testing these out but if you want to know some of my favorite cleansers, let me know! ☺️ I also just posted an updated review for this serum! Hi Nadia! I test a lot of different products so have used many different cleansers. I filmed this video quite awhile ago so I'm not using the same cleanser as I was then but I'm currently using the Indie Lee Purifying Cleanser!
Niacinamide can be helpful for treating acne but I personally think it's best for reducing acne marks. Because of the other ingredients in the toner that are meant for helping to fade dark spots, I don't think it's best for treating active acne but it's good for helping to fade left over acne marks.
Hi! No not completely but if you check out the before and after pictures in the video, hopefully that can give you an idea of how much it helped. I personally think it helped quite a bit! Hi! Of course! Here's the order to apply skincare products. 1. Cleanser 2. Niacinamide Toner 3. Discoloration Correcting Serum 4. Moisturizer 5. Sunscreen (skip this step at night) You can also replace your moisturizer with a sunscreen if you have a sunscreen that you feel gives your skin enough moisture. I often times just use a sunscreen as a moisturizer in the morning. I hope that helps! ☺
Hi! They launched an updated formula and the updated formula is a milky color! So don't worry, that's normal! I'm actually currently testing out the new formula and am going to post a video about that soon! ☺️
Are you wanting products that help with discoloration or just products for dry skin? They don't have a toner for the purpose of hydrating the skin but for a serum, the best one for dry skin would probably be their super peptide serum. And if you like facial oils, you might want to check out their ultra-hydrating facial oil and their bakuchiol oil blend for dry skin. I hope that helps! ☺️
Just bought this today at Ulta! It looks like it comes with a dropper but for some reason I can't get it to work. I know yours was finishing so you just dumped it out on your hands. Did you use a dropper?
Hi! Yes! It comes with a dropper. It worked great until it was almost empty. That's strange yours isn't working. Like it's not picking up the product or it won't come out?
My skin didn't go through a purging stage when I started using Good Molcules but sometimes the skin may experience a few breakouts simply as a result of just getting used to new skincare or adjusting to it. If you start breaking out a lot, then it might just be that your skin doesn't like the product. But I don't think that these products should cause your skin to purge.
Will this help with discoloration? I had discoloration around my cheek and chin area, it isn’t like dark spots it’s just darker than my regular skin tone.
I'm honestly not sure but they're supposed to help with brightening and evening out the skin tone so it may help! I'd say they're definitely worth a try! And if you just want to try one of them, I'd say pick the serum since the serum is likely going to give the most results! I do think the toner and serum work really well together though!
I am 19 years old and my skin is very dry plus I have dark stop around my lip area can I use these products? I’m very new to this so I don’t know where to start. I would be very grateful if u reply.
Hi! Yes, you can definitely give these a try! I'd just recommend starting with using these once a day for a week and see how your skin responds to them and if there aren't any issues, you can increase to using them twice a day. And since you have dry skin, finish with a moisturizer. I would recommend finishing with a moisturizer for anyone!
@@bunny271 Of course! I don't think so! The toner isn't sticky at all. The serum maybe has a slight tackiness to it but I've never once felt like it felt heavy or sticky.
Hi! You can but it won't help to treat active acne. I'd recommend using the serum after clearing the active acne. For example, if you're still dealing with a lot of breakouts, I'd recommend that you focus on a skincare routine for healing the acne and then once your skin has less active breakouts, start focusing on fading the leftover marks. 💚 The Discoloration Correcting Serum is really just meant for fading dark spots and evening out the skin tone so it's not something that will help with active breakouts.
It absolutely could but you should check out their Discoloration Correcting Body Treatment! They recently launched this product and it's made specifically for the body! It's basically the Discoloration Correcting Serum but for the body! This product would be even better for using on your arms and other parts of the body! Here's a link to the product if you want to check it out! :) bit.ly/3Th9dUD
Hi! Yes, you can definitely use these along with Vitamin C but if you're worried about irritation, I'd recommend alternating when you use the Good Molecules Serum and the Vitamin C serum. Maybe use the Vitamin C serum in the morning and the Good Molecules serum at night.
Did anyone else have a bit of a reaction the first time using the colour correcting serum product? , I normally just use a simple micellar face wash, snail essence and moisturiser but I used this tonight before my snail essence and noticed a bit of tingling around my nose , any help much appreciated 👍🏼.
@@kriss0492 yeah to certain products, I may have used these to much as it’s getting tiny bit better(less dull skin ) but I think I notice purging or cystic acne a bit.👍🏼
Apply moisturizer and then sunscreen. Sunscreen is always the last step. In the morning, you can also replace your moisturizer with a sunscreen. You don't have to use both. For daytime, I often just use my sunscreen as a moisturizer. If you have a sunscreen that you feel gives your skin enough moisture, then you can definitely just use the sunscreen as a moisturizer. Great question! I honestly don't know the answer though unfortunately. I would think it would be okay but I'm not totally sure since it's designed to be used on the face. I feel like applying it to the bikini area could potentially cause irritation but I'm no expert. Lol
Great question! I wouldn't suggest using any prescription medication or form of retinol with other actives. You could alternate the days you use them if you want to incorporate both into your skincare routine. For example, switch which ones you use every other day or use one in the morning such as the Niacinamide Toner and Discoloration Correcting Serum and Adapalene at night. I hope that helps! 💚
Oh wow really? I've never had issues getting the product out. Maybe you got a faulty one? 🤷🏼♀️ Sorry to hear that! If you tip the bottle, you can just add some to your hands and then apply. The serum itself is really great!
I'd say the dark spots or hyperpigmentation would only return if you get new breakouts or get exposed to the sun and don't wear sunscreen to prevent the dark spots from getting darker.
Yes! Morning and night! ☺️ I'm actually currently testing out their updated formula for the serum so make sure you're subscribed and hit the notification bell 🔔 if you want to see my review for that!
I think so! I have acne-prone skin which is a sensitive skin condition and it worked well for me but everybody's skin is different so I'm sure that can vary from person to person.
Hi! It looks shiny? Maybe it was the lighting? My skin was a little oily or dewy from the sunscreen I was wearing so maybe that was giving it a little bit of a shiny look. 🤷🏼♀️

So Im a little confuse about this i was trying other products but didn’t work for me so i hear this brand and i really want to try

And they have a good ewg rating! For people interested in clean products
TO azelaic acid
Can i use this for other parts of the body, are just the face?
@@aceareceneaux3868 These are intended for the face but Good Molecules just launched a Discoloration Correcting Treatment for the body!
Hi! I have combination skin. I think the products work great together but even if you just get the serum, I think you'll see great results! ☺️
Did you cleanse beforehand and moisturize after? Curious what other products you are using
Hi!
Been struggling with red marks for sometime and I’m trying to change that
Hi! Absolutely! I definitely think this can help with red marks too! Honestly any kind of dark spots or discoloration, I think this can help with! ☺️
@@DaniSmith405 so does it works with Postinflammatory Erythema? cause I was doing some research and I’m not to sure if this will work with my red marks/ postinflammatory erythema. Did you have red marks? or did you have dark spots?
I am praying to god this works for me
I hope it works for you too! As with any skincare, just give it some time to work! At least test it out for 1 month to give the products a chance to work and for your skin to adjust to using them. I'd also recommend taking before and after pictures! That way, it will be easier for you see if it has worked for you!
Will it be useful for melasma?
Is it acne safe?
And does it help with acne?
It's not to treat active acne but is helpful to fade post acne marks.
I want to know that can I use ordinary niacinamide serum and Good molecules discoloration correcting serum together ?
You can, however, the good molecules discoloration correcting serum also contains niacinamide so it may not really be necessary to use another niacinamide serum with it. :)
did you use it both every day did you apply the big bottle then after a min the serum? did you use spf?
Yes, I used the toner and then the serum both morning and night. And yes, I also wore SPF!
@@DaniSmith405 i bought it like 4 hours ago should i start 2-3 a week or every day?
Thanks for the review
You're welcome! Thanks for watching! ☺️
Love the review❤️❤️
Yay! I'm so glad you found it helpful! ☺
can you use these with retinol at night? and if you use a chemical exfoliant (bha) at night, then can you use these too?
I would recommend alternating when you use them. For example, use the serum in the morning and retinol at night.
I just love u have an Android phone. ❤ my type of girl
can you use these products along with a bleachign agent like ambi fade cream?
Hi! Before applying these two products what did u use as a cleanser?
I filmed this video quite awhile ago so I don't remember the exact cleanser I was using when I was testing these out but if you want to know some of my favorite cleansers, let me know! ☺️
I also just posted an updated review for this serum! They reformulated the serum so I tested it out again!
Here's a link to that video if you want to check it out: ruclips.net/video/eT-ZDMQBwsk/видео.html
Hey hello there. Is this combo good for oily@combination skin???
Yes! I have combination skin and it works great for me!
How long does the discoloration sereum last, will it last for a couple of months?
Hi! Yes! It lasted me 2 months!
Can I use cerave moisturizer lotion on top? Or just these two
Of course! Yes, I always like to top with a moisturizer. :)
Before putting this toner and serum on what do u wash your face with?
Hi Nadia! I test a lot of different products so have used many different cleansers. I filmed this video quite awhile ago so I'm not using the same cleanser as I was then but I'm currently using the Indie Lee Purifying Cleanser!
Does the toner help with acne to since it has niacinimide in it ????
??
Niacinamide can be helpful for treating acne but I personally think it's best for reducing acne marks. Because of the other ingredients in the toner that are meant for helping to fade dark spots, I don't think it's best for treating active acne but it's good for helping to fade left over acne marks.
Do you put moisturizer and sunscreen after that?
Yes! ☺️
Hi! Did it completely get rid of your scars?
Hi! No not completely but if you check out the before and after pictures in the video, hopefully that can give you an idea of how much it helped. I personally think it helped quite a bit!
Good Molecules actually updated the formula of the serum since I posted this video and I'm currently testing out the new formula and will be posting a video about that soon! So if you're interested in seeing that video, make sure you're subscribed to my channel and hit the notification bell 🔔 so that you don't miss it when I post that video! ☺️
Can you please guide me about when to use the moisturiser ? After these products?
Hi! Of course! Here's the order to apply skincare products.
1. Cleanser
2. Niacinamide Toner
3. Discoloration Correcting Serum
4. Moisturizer
5. Sunscreen (skip this step at night)
You can also replace your moisturizer with a sunscreen if you have a sunscreen that you feel gives your skin enough moisture. I often times just use a sunscreen as a moisturizer in the morning. I hope that helps! ☺
At what point do we use hyaluronic acid serum? Before of after the toner please?
1:57 yours is clear liquid. I bought mine last week and it’s a milky color! So why is that?
Hi! They launched an updated formula and the updated formula is a milky color! So don't worry, that's normal! I'm actually currently testing out the new formula and am going to post a video about that soon! ☺️
@@DaniSmith405 Ok, thank you!
Which TONER and SERUM would you recommend from good molecules for sensitive/ dry skin?
Are you wanting products that help with discoloration or just products for dry skin? They don't have a toner for the purpose of hydrating the skin but for a serum, the best one for dry skin would probably be their super peptide serum. And if you like facial oils, you might want to check out their ultra-hydrating facial oil and their bakuchiol oil blend for dry skin.
I hope that helps! ☺️
It's so expensive here in South Africa
Just bought this today at Ulta! It looks like it comes with a dropper but for some reason I can't get it to work. I know yours was finishing so you just dumped it out on your hands. Did you use a dropper?
Hi! Yes! It comes with a dropper. It worked great until it was almost empty. That's strange yours isn't working. Like it's not picking up the product or it won't come out?
@@DaniSmith405 Nope, not at all. I'm going to take it back to Ulta today and get a new one.
@@privatespectacle Yeah, definitely take it back and exchange it.
Nazim Kadri uses this product
Did your skin go through a purging stage while using good molecules?
My skin didn't go through a purging stage when I started using Good Molcules but sometimes the skin may experience a few breakouts simply as a result of just getting used to new skincare or adjusting to it. If you start breaking out a lot, then it might just be that your skin doesn't like the product. But I don't think that these products should cause your skin to purge.
do you apply the toner to dry or damp skin?
I normally just apply it to dry skin after I cleanse, though sometimes my skin is a little damp. I think applying it either way is totally fine.
@@DaniSmith405 thankyou so much for replying,I did use it. Also are they supposed to be lil sticky?
@@bunny271 Of course! I don't think so! The toner isn't sticky at all. The serum maybe has a slight tackiness to it but I've never once felt like it felt heavy or sticky.
can i apply the discoloration serum on active acne???
The Discoloration Correcting Serum is really just meant for fading dark spots and evening out the skin tone so it's not something that will help with active breakouts.
Will this work for my melasma on my arms and other body parts?
It absolutely could but you should check out their Discoloration Correcting Body Treatment! They recently launched this product and it's made specifically for the body! It's basically the Discoloration Correcting Serum but for the body! This product would be even better for using on your arms and other parts of the body! Here's a link to the product if you want to check it out! :) bit.ly/3Th9dUD
@@DaniSmith405 thank you so much for your advice. Will go for it!
@@roberteng3122 You're so welcome! ☺️
I have tried the body lotion but seems like not working for me. I’m trying the serum as I feel that it’s more potent.
Can I use this along with Vitamin C serum?
Hi! Yes, you can definitely use these along with Vitamin C but if you're worried about irritation, I'd recommend alternating when you use the Good Molecules Serum and the Vitamin C serum. Maybe use the Vitamin C serum in the morning and the Good Molecules serum at night.
@@DaniSmith405 thank you so much for the reply
Hi do u try other product of good molwcule
Hi! I have have tried their clarity bar soap! That's a really good product!
How did you use it ??
Morning and night ☺️
Did anyone else have a bit of a reaction the first time using the colour correcting serum product? , I normally just use a simple micellar face wash, snail essence and moisturiser but I used this tonight before my snail essence and noticed a bit of tingling around my nose , any help much appreciated 👍🏼.
Oh no! So sorry to hear you had a reaction. 😕
You are sensitive skin?
@@kriss0492 yeah to certain products, I may have used these to much as it’s getting tiny bit better(less dull skin ) but I think I notice purging or cystic acne a bit.👍🏼
What about hormonal pigmentation
This can work for that! ☺️
How to layer moisturiser and sun block?
Apply moisturizer and then sunscreen. Sunscreen is always the last step. In the morning, you can also replace your moisturizer with a sunscreen. You don't have to use both. For daytime, I often just use my sunscreen as a moisturizer. If you have a sunscreen that you feel gives your skin enough moisture, then you can definitely just use the sunscreen as a moisturizer. can I use is on underarms and bikini area for hyperpigmentation
Great question! I honestly don't know the answer though unfortunately. I would think it would be okay but I'm not totally sure since it's designed to be used on the face. I feel like applying it to the bikini area could potentially cause irritation but I'm no expert. Lol
Can i use this if I am using Adapalene?
Great question! I wouldn't suggest using any prescription medication or form of retinol with other actives. You could alternate the days you use them if you want to incorporate both into your skincare routine. For example, switch which ones you use every other day or use one in the morning such as the Niacinamide Toner and Discoloration Correcting Serum and Adapalene at night. I hope that helps! 💚
Great video..thanks!
You're welcome! ☺️
how in the heck do you get the shit inside of the squeeze tube?! it has ZERO suction 🙄 i’m already over this product.
Oh wow really? I've never had issues getting the product out. Maybe you got a faulty one? 🤷🏼♀️ Sorry to hear that! If you tip the bottle, you can just add some to your hands and then apply. The serum itself is really great!
OMG! It's great! 😳

Do you use it day & night?
Yes! ☺️
mew to your channel.. thank you for your review.
Happy to have you! I'm so glad you found the video helpful! ☺️
you're so pretty.
Thank you so much! ☺
Does it come back if stop using
I'd say the dark spots or hyperpigmentation would only return if you get new breakouts or get exposed to the sun and don't wear sunscreen to prevent the dark spots from getting darker.
did you use it everyday night and day?
Yes! Morning and night! ☺️ I'm actually currently testing out their updated formula for the serum so make sure you're subscribed and hit the notification bell 🔔 if you want to see my review for that!
How many got from the serum in 9 week?
Hi Madina! I don't quite understand your question. Are you asking about my results in 9 weeks?
Did your skin purge?
It didn't! ☺️
Does these work for sensitive skin?
I think so! I have acne-prone skin which is a sensitive skin condition and it worked well for me but everybody's skin is different so I'm sure that can vary from person to person.
Do you reply i would love your feedback on my skin if you dont mind please🥺
Hi! Feel free to send me a DM on Instagram! I'm no skin professional but I'd be happy to try to help as best as I can! ☺️
will this help acne scars
like red marks
Yes! It should definitely help with fading leftover red acne marks! My leftover marks appear somewhat red and it really helped fade the marks for me!
@@DaniSmith405 Ok tysm
How is ure skin shiny
Hi! It looks shiny? Maybe it was the lighting? My skin was a little oily or dewy from the sunscreen I was wearing so maybe that was giving it a little bit of a shiny look. 🤷🏼♀️
You didn't have any hyperpigmentation in your before photos, just acne.
Hi! Those were actually dark spots. I may have had a few breakouts but the rest were post acne marks.
Did u use twice a day or once??
Twice a day! Both morning and night. ☺️
