FOR ANYONE GETTING LOST ON THE TRACK MATTE- the new version of AE you must first select the lightning layer as the track matte, then to the right of the track matte option you will see two squares. It will appear white with a black circle in the middle, if you click it, it will switch to a ‘sun’ symbol which means luma.
Really awesome tutorial! Thank You! ... If you ever get the time ... could you possibly show how this would be done with AE 2023, please. The mattes are quite different in 2023, and I get lost when the luma mattes are applied to the text. Cheers, Rory
I am very confused, my main does not have the other comps in it? None of it is working? Disregard the top part My problem now is that I do not have that Track Matte option, I am using the 2019 version if that makes a difference on where it is located.
