I just got it, because I saw the gameplay on another channel. This game isn't just about dispatching. I would compare it to Factorio, Satisfactory, and the lot of automation building games, where you expand your factory/network/whatever, unlock new tiers, and optimize everything.
And I think it is important to make that clear, because most people (me in the beginning) think, that it's your typical simulation game, where you do shallow management of some things, and maybe can get 2 hours out of it or so. That's not here. You can pour hours and hours into the game, building up your little automated lines, optimizing the schedules, then expanding and connecting your little networks, throw in some InterCity trains that you have to get quickly and on time through the whole map otherwise you will lose 1000s of money as a penalty, then the multi-leg trains with shunt yards come in, and also freight trains that clog your network. And now make it all optimized? That's a challenge and a half.
Endless mode is like Factorio I would say. Rush hour is like Mini Metro, where you can't pause the time. And Timetable - is something different. I would say, timetable are puzzle maps. You have complex networks that you have to dispatch, but no time constraints.

I prefer that other train game we got from Epic where I attempt to drive real trains and do "missions" like back the 26 car train up through the switcher and into different tracks, and it tells me I failed. :)

hey guys,this is important please help me out:i was just playing guardians of the galaxy as my exams just got over & i the wifi stopped working so i just started playing in offline mod & then when the wifi got fixed epic gave me 2 choices i dont exactly remember but it was either to upload the older file to cloud or to use the newer file from cloud idk i just chose whatever felt right at the moment & now i am stuck with my old game dissapeared it's just showing a new game in all three slots>PLzz help i will appreciate it.

Sounds like you have loaded offline saves instead of cloud ones. Have you tried to go into epic settings and enable cloud saves?

It can be tricky, once I had a similar case when I opened the game on a different pc where i continued the game, but when i got back to first pc the game asked me which ones i want to play and it owerwrited the cloud, of course i choosed the wrong ones!

It depends on you whether you want to use cloud save or not, but I just recommend using cloud save.

It is very much more a puzzle game rather than a simulator. However I never got to try the Timetable section on Netherlands maps.
Sadly the early sections, probably now the Tutorial, would just give you a "Game Over" when you crashed. Realistic, maybe, but not very helpful whilst you are trying to learn. Oh and many of the "tools" that you needed were locked behind earlier missions. Maybe it is better now. But it killed my interest. So I have spent 2000+ hours in Nimby Rails instead.
