Well your vids certainly have it all! History, scenery, ghostly figures and a bit of eye candy on the beaches! Suns out guns out Mr Metalman! You spoil us 😉😀👍🏻👍🏻
It happens every year, someone will try and beat the the incoming tide, very the causeway and lose. The result is, their car gets stuck, they need rescuing and their insurance is null and void. Thank goodness it was not me lol. Thanks very much for watching cheers Alan
The beaches are beautiful...beautiful church...I bet walking at night alone did feel like a horror film...I think stuff like that when we are out in the dark lol...sorry she didn't sleep well..nice seeing you both out enjoying the beautiful day...north sea is amazingly beautiful....how great to have it all to yourself..you do go to so many beautiful places, I love watching your ventures...looks like you both had a fun filled day...thanks for sharing with us...have a blessed weekend
Thank you so much for such a great comment and I am so sorry it has taken me 5 months to reply to it but I have just noticed it tonight, sort about that, cheers Alan
What a beautiful place Alan, everyone I heard you say the name I kept thinking of "The Fog On The Tyne" song. Stunning bays too. Ha my dad and his brothers usd to swim in the sea every christmas day, it was a family tradition when he lived in South Sheilds as a lad. Loved it Alan. Lee
Thanks for watching Lee and funny enough, my mother was born in South Shields and met my father in Sunderland, where he was born. The still do the Boxing Day swim up here every year but too cold for me lol. Cheers Alan
What a beautiful film with two beautiful people. Once again we are tempted then denied a shot of Mrs METALMAN skinny-dipping! Well at least we got to see the amazing physical specimen that is ALAN METALMAN stripped to impress. You certainly impressed! Cheers and never stop exploring or living simply. 🍺🍺🍺🍺
Thanks Mike and what a day this was, better February weather that mid summer but we were not complaining. Always appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment, cheers Alan
Thanks very much for watching Andy and believe it or not this was in February, fantastic weather! I hope yo made it there, its always a great place to visit but watch those tide times lol! Cheers Alan
I always worry about going to places where one is depending on the tide… there is an island here off The Gower but I am worried because if one doesn't pay attention and misses the tide then one spends the night there! Amazing place and that chapel is incredible!!!! So quiet… Really incredible…
Aye it was funny that Steve, we were staying there at the time and it was about 07.00 in the morning, priory was shut, not a soul about and I saw that, gave me a start, I can tell you. Thanks for watching Steve, cheers Alan
Beautiful so much history and beauty there. I went on holiday to that coastline when I was younger def need to take the kids over. The sea is blue and beaches clean great video take care Leona and Chris
Thanks for stopping by guys and its about a 90 minute drive home for us, so we tend to go at least once a year and we never get sick of it, it's got such a great feel of history about the place, cheers Alan
Thanks for stopping by George and a place we love to visit , I love the history and we both love the secluded beaches, something there for everyone, just got to watch out for that tide lol. Cheers Alan
wow.. the castel.. i always love all movie like this.. fantastic.. the weather also super nice.. still cold? I saw you both with jacket . I just back from Berlin.
It was chilly first thing in the morning but when the sun got it was so warm, so unusual for the time of year here. Thank you for watching, cheers Alan
This is a special place, maybe the most lonely place on earth. Or the other way round, you had the island for yourself. Beautiful island and beach! And the abbey is impressing. Brilliant Alan, can’t believe it was that quiet for you and you got a beautiful day for it too, what a great place to visit, thanks for sharing ATB Ben
I think it was safe to cross the causeway at 09.50 and we were over by 10.00 and first ones in the car park, so it was nice and quiet for the first hour - bliss. Thanks for watching Ben, cheers Alan
Totally agree with you Alan, this country is so diverse and takes some exploring as well for a small one. I have never had a passport, always said that when iv'e seen and experienced this wonderful land ill get one and have a mooch over the channel but for now more than happy to travel round here. Cracking area that love the moody atmosphere of the place. Your new camera is a good en mate, proper clear with great colour. What settings have you got it on? My main camera broke on my last trip up to Snowdonia so my second walk had to use my GoPro 4 and to help the audio had it in the skeleton case but the lens kept steaming up with the damp conditions, only found out once back, bit of a downer but can't be helped. Looking to up grade so might have a look at the GP 7. Cheers mate.
The 7 Black is my first Gopro Jim and I am still filming in 1080p. What a lovely beach! Yes we get cars stuck in the tides here at Brean too. I don't bother going abroad as like you say, so many beautiful places here to see =)
If we get the weather here, I would never consider going abroad for a holiday, so many more places I want to visit in this country. Thanks very much for watching Shirley, cheers Alan
Thank you so much for taking the time to watch and comment and so sorry it has taken me 6 months to reply but I have just noticed it tonight, real sorry about that, cheers Alan
What a lovely area, it's a coincidence but my wife and I have just started binge watching the series " Vikings" on Prime and the first raid o. Holy island. That monk might be the monk Athelstan, who survived the raid and went to live with the Norsemen before returning to his Christian beliefs and then got murdered. Fascinating bit of history there my friend.thanks for sharing. ATB jim
Thanks Jim mate, appreciate you watching and we loved the series Vikings and are bang up to date with it. It was great when they did the episode about Holy Island, as we have been there many times over the years. Hopefully, you may get to visit one day Jim, just got to watch the tide, cheers Alan
Another gorgeous tour Allen. Again I really enjoy the history thank you for sharing. You guys are very fortunate to have such ancient pieces of history nearby.
I love the history they have there and it is quite local for us, only a 90 minute drive home, so a place we tend to visit every year. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
It can get real busy there but if you time it right, with the tide crossing, you can have it almost to yourself. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Oh nice one, I hope you have a great time, it is such an awesome place to visit, we both always enjoy a visit there. Thank you very much for watching and taking the time to leave a comment, real good of you and very much appreciated, cheers Alan
I have always wanted to go to Holy Island. Great video Alan. Not sure why your gopro batteries running out so quick might be the settings. Might have the WIFI left on or i find the non official gopro batteries run out quick in the cold. Mine seem to last for a days filming in Winter on the gopro 7. Thanks richard
Using the proper batteries Richard, maybe I do a lot of clips, starting and stopping and film a lot of footage but only use about half of it - the rest is just pure rubbish lol. Thanks very much for watching buddy, cheers Alan
Aw man, it's bliss but it's funny how protective you get, when you see someone else come down on the beach lol. Thanks very much for watching Colin, cheers Alan
What a neat place!! WOW! Paranormal experience? Beautiful place. Enjoyed the music you put with it too, Alan! Beautiful abbey. 2 people on YOUR beach! How dare they! HA! It it stunning! Skinny dipping! HA! You are hilarious! Thanks, Ala! So great!
This place is right up my alley!! Beautiful nature and beaches, history and ruins, old architecture. This is amazing and I'd love to visit myself. Cool that you saw a monk in the ruins - very ghostly almost!
So beautiful landscapes there! And so lucky that it's almost empty, nobody but you! Churches by cemeteries are so beautiful! Thanks for sharing guys!! Loved it!
So nice when you can visit in the middle of the week, when most others are at work, such a nice place when you have it to yourselves. Thanks so much for watching, cheers Alan
Aye, showed them all, all 3 of them (stop skimming) lol. Great place for a visit Chris and an even better place to stop overnight. Thanks for watching, cheers Alan
Awesome place with great history behind it! Grear beach with one footprints of yours, church and ruins, and bullet train passing. Beautiful hidden cove and just reserved for you guys. Great history telling and nice timelapse at the end.thumbs up for this superb vlog
Happens all the time, a car tries and fails to beat the tide and then gets trapped, you got about 7 hours before the tide comes back in again but it comes in real quickly. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
My kind of place Alan, love those beaches there so quiet and peaceful. Cracking weather too although it did still look a little nippy to be skinny dipping! Lol! 👍 Anthony
It's great you got to spend more time on the beach again. That's crazy about people getting stuck in the tide like that wow! It's awesome that you miss Metal Man have been together for so long :-). Great video Alan.
You can walk for miles on that beach and not see anyone, only thing you got to watch for is the tide coming back in. Appreciate you guys watching, cheers Alan
loving the variety of walks your posting at min alan went to Berwick on tweed about 10 years ago and visited bamburgh castle and holy island both great places so thanks for reminding how great holy island is,great video and scenery cheers nigel
Thanks for watching Nigel and Bamburgh is brilliant as well, I had a bad experience at Berwick about 45 years ago, which put me off, so never been back lol. Cheers Alan
This is great! I love being here in the desert, but so much I will never see. I guess we’re all living adventures in different places. Nice chapel! This place is cool. Oh I would love to see a castle. Strutting on the beach for Mrs metal, How dare they be on your beach. Vikings do not sound fun!
Looked a cracking day Alan. Some great shots again with the new Go Pro. Been years since I have been over there, might have a trip across some time this year. Cheers. Eddie.
If you get the tide right Eddie, its brilliant. The safe crossing was at 09.50 and we were across and first in the car park by 10.00, so the centre was deserted. As soon as a few others turned up, we headed to the coves. Thanks for watching Eddie, cheers Alan
Great video mate, stunning area with great history, bet there's been a lot of cars stranded over the years, lovely beaches there, the UK has some incredible places like you say, with amazing history, all the best 👍
Funny you should say that Gaz, just seen on tonight's local news, a campervan with foreign tourists, got stuck half way across and the coastguard got there just before it floated away! Thanks very much for watching Gaz, cheers Alan
Man that looks like a beautiful place to explore!!! I love all the history w/ old church, good info about the tied..would not like to get a car rental stuck..thanks for sharing
That's a very historic place and very desolate. Reminds me a bit of Donegal with the beautiful beaches and no one on them. I was half expecting Ragnor Lothbrok to make an appearance but you look as if you could take him on!! Great video
Thanks very much for watching and commenting, especially with all the distractions you have on the cruise. This is a favorite place to visit for us and only a 90 minute drive away from home, so we are there quite a bit. Cheers Alan
We both love it there and only 1.5 hours from home. It's great if you can time the tide times, so you are one of the first over as well. Appreciate you taking the time to watch, cheers Alan
Hi Alan, New subscriber here. I love videos of the sea covering the causeway. I watch lots of them, and I dream of visiting Bamburgh Castle. I was going to marry there but it didnt work out :) Your production is excellent. Thanks to you & Mrs Metalman.
Thanks and welcome, real nice of you to watch and comment, very much appreciated. Bamburgh Castle is a special place for us, as we have visited so many times and we both love all the history this part of the UK holds - we also live a a street called Bamburgh as well (random throw away fact lol). I am sorry that your marriage there did not work out but good to see it has not spoilt you positive love of the area, which is such a special place. Take care, cheers Alan
Hi Alan, Lindisfarne looks lovely, thanks for taking us around! Could I just ask, do you use an external mic on your GoPro because the sound is really quite good? Looking at getting one for mine, not sure what to get, Cheers, Simon👍👍👍
Hi Simon and that's for watching, the sound on my last 3 vidoes have all been the GoPro sound on the Hero 7 Black but all 3 videos have had wind free conditions. I have just bought off Amazon the EDUTIGE Dual microphone ETM-001 Microphone for Action Camera (GOPRO) for £25 and it looks real good, plenty of RUclips videos of this and I will be using it on my next video, as you can guarantee there will be wind, so think I will need it. You have to buy the GoPro adapter as well (£45), which is a pain but hopefully will all be worth it in the end. Cheers Alan
What a great day for it Alan , we went last may but the fog descended and we could see nowt lol , many years back we broke down on the island and the AA had to rescue us , but trying to explain where we were was a mare lol . Lovely beaches and very quiet as you say, but trying to get a meal after 8pm no chance ! we just had beer and crisps . atb Dave....
When we stopped there Dave, the guy in the hotel tipped us off, saying you have to get booked in early for food, if not you go hungry lol. Funny enough, the first ever time we went over it was thing of fog as well, drove over the causeway, turned around and came straight back again lol. Thanks for stopping by, cheers Alan
Stunning that’s all I can say been to lindisfarne on a number of occasions never found that stunning beach are your photos from the GoPro if they are they are gorgeous 👍👍
All the video is the GoPro Stuart but the still photos were from my smartphone. There are 3 beaches the other side of the island, all slightly different but all very quiet. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Thanks for sharing some of the history Alan ,it's a fabulous place( unless it's windy 😲), amazing that with all that sunshine there wasn't hoards of folk there .
It was Monday morning Lynne and we were across the causeway 5 minutes after the safe crossing time, so it was deserted and absolute bliss. Thanks very much for watching Lynne, cheers Alan
So much history there, which I love and even on such a small island, you can always find a bit of peace and quiet, which I also love. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Lmaooooo 😅😅😅. Happens ever year and apparently, it invalidates your insurance, so it is an expensive place to get stuck. Appreciate you watching, cheers Alan
To be honest, I was very tempted to go in for a swim but the tide was on the way out, so I did not want to end up in Denmark lol! Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Somewhere i've always fancied going to, pretty much 'iconic' to the North-east of England people and the historians in this part of northern europe........those beaches would be envied in Spain(as you eluded to in the commentary Alan)... you certainly didnt waste that superb late February weather we had mate...........how could anyone be so thick as to get their vehicle stuck high and not so dry on the causeway lol...................a really beautiful day out.............ATB...Stu.
Thanks for watching Stu and apparently, it invalidates your car insurance, if you get stuck there, so thank goodness that was not my car lol. Cheers Alan
There used to be beautiful little stone hut on one of the bays, washed away in a winter storm a few years back. So few people bother to walk around there. Glorious place. I have walked all the way round the island. I have also sat and watched the tide come in at the island end of causeway. It's definitely worth staying over. White pointy thing is Emmanuel head.
Thank you so much for watching and your wonderful comment, which is very much appreciated. No matter how many times we visit there, we always love it and it is such a magical place, so much history and tradition. We both love the secluded coves and you can spend hours without seeing anyone else, so nice. Cheers Alan
Such a beautiful and historically rich place Alan. I went there a lot as a kid when we stayed in the family caravan at Haggerston Castle, never really appreciated it then. Been back a few times as an adult but I think I'll schedule in another trip after watching this. I don't actually think I've ever been up to the castle, so think I'll have a closer look at that next time I'm there. Thanks for sharing, I really enjoyed watching this one. Atb Shaun
The castle has just reopened Shaun after a big renovation but the Priory is not open till 29 March, not that there's a lot left of that today. We both love going there and always try and time it just after the tide has gone out. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Thanks Alan, really nice video! I have never even heard of this place until today and had no idea where it was on the map. I do now so thanks for sharing!👍😁
Hopefully you will visit some day soon, as its a real nice place and awash with history. Only thing you have got to watch out for is the tide times, every year someone gets it wrong lol. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
We love it there and only 90 minutes from home, love the history there and on a sunny day like that, it's awesome. Thanks very much for stopping by guys, cheers Alan
Thank you very much for watching and taking the time to comment, very much appreciated. Unsure about public transport to be honest but a lot of people walk across at low tide but give yourself plenty of time, cheers Alan
"Oh man" ! I'm sure glad you didn't strip down naked to take a dip. We didn't need to see that. Bahahahaha How rude of those two to trespass on your beach 😆 Beautiful scenery as always and great history. Thanks for sharing with us Alan.
Got to say, it was very tempting, apart from the 2 interlopers, on the sandy beach, we never saw anyone else, in the 2 hours we were there, having said that, If I had stripped off, a bus load of nuns would have pulled up lol. Thanks for watching, cheers Alan
I can't believe how blue the sea is I don't remember it ever being that colour always grey. Thanks for the memories Alan this is making me very nostalgic and I'm planning a trip next year.
Well I hope you get the same weather we got Nic and real pleased you are heading back Up North for a holiday. Real nice of you to watch and take the time to comment, very much appreciated, cheers Alan
One of out favorite day trips and so much history there, which I love. Mrs Metalman loves the beaches there and when the tide is out, you can walk for miles and not see a single person. Thank you for watching, cheers Alan
I love that beach and every time we have been there it has been the same, so I was a bit worried about posting this. If it is busy next time we go Mrs Metalman will kill me lol! Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
enjoyed the light hearted banter on this one alan. the monk scene was sort of eerie . i have rode through minsteracres monestry (on the way to blanchland) on many occasions & not seen one monk lol.
It gave me a bit of a start, as it was at 07.00 in the morning (we were staying overnight), everything was closed and there was nobody about, apart from us, then I saw that....If I had not caught it on film, I would have called it a senior moment lol. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Beautiful place, the church and especially the coast. Not full of buildings, casinos and hotels as it's typical around here! Very good quality video, is that the GoPro again?
Thanks very much for watching and yes, the Hero 7 Black, filmed in 1080p and using the GoPro sound. Next video I will be trying an external mic for the first time, cheers Alan
Haha, yes, every year someone thinks they can beat in incoming tide and gets stuck, thank goodness that was not my car lol. Appreciate you stopping by, cheers Alan
After watching the Exorcist at the age of 9 or 10 Alan my brother would wait for me to get to the top of the stairs, switch the light off and shout out red eyes. He used to freak me out. I hope Mrs Metalman wasn't as freaked out as I was. A monk is a nicer prospect I reckon. Loving them beaches and hey did you swim? All the best as always. Mark
I was very tempted Mark, as there was nobody about and there was not a breath of wind but the tide was going out, so did not want to spoil a perfect day. I should never had told her the story of the Mad Monk, she had the bloody light on all night in the hotel lol! Thanks for watching Mark, cheers Alan
Not sure I believe the skinny dipping story, lol... Those beaches are really beautiful, blue sky and clear waters and the sand sweeping away into the distance, beautiful!
To be honest, I was very tempted, as it was 18° and not a breath of and but the tide was on the way out, so I did not fancy a trip to Denmark lol. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Is the island haunted?? What a pretty place! One of the things we lack in the US is that rich 1000 year old history. Can’t wait to come visit! So nice to see Mrs.Metalman!
So much history there and so many ghost stories in the hotels, pubs and bed and breakfasts (which they are only a handful of over there). It's quite local for us, only a 90 minute drive away, so se tend to go over about once a year. Thanks for stopping by, cheers and Mrs Metalman, says Hi, atb Alan

Wow that place is amazing, those ruins are pretty neat! Thanks for the share!
It's such a great place to visit, with so much history. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Absolutely wonderful. I would love to visit there. -Mark
So sorry it had taken me 7 months to reply to your very nice comment but I have just seen it today, real sorry again, cheers Alan
I love church history. This video was great!
Thank you so much for taking the time to watch and comment and so sorry it has taken me 6 months to reply but I have just noticed it tonight, real sorry about that, cheers Alan
lovely beach Alan and upload - watched again with a full view
We love it there, especially on a quiet sunny day. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Wonderful video,Alan...with stunning scenery! It was a real pleasure to watch ...Thumbs way up! Like#57..👍✨✨✨
Pleased that you enjoyed it and this is one of our favourite places to visit for the day. I always appreciate you watching, cheers Alan
Wonderful to enjoy quiet moments to just yourselves in the loveliest of places.
It can get real busy there but if you time it right, with the tide crossing, you can have it almost to yourself. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Thanks for the tour Alan. I can’t wait to visit. Love the sand with no footprints! ❤️
Looks great, nice beach, canny beat having the place to yourself, priceless👌👍
Aw man, it's bliss but it's funny how protective you get, when you see someone else come down on the beach lol. Thanks very much for watching Colin, cheers Alan
What a neat place!! WOW! Paranormal experience? Beautiful place. Enjoyed the music you put with it too, Alan! Beautiful abbey. 2 people on YOUR beach! How dare they! HA! It it stunning! Skinny dipping! HA! You are hilarious! Thanks, Ala! So great!
Pleased you enjoyed it guys and appreciate you watching. It's such a beautiful place and so rich in history, we both love it there, cheers Alan
This place is right up my alley!! Beautiful nature and beaches, history and ruins, old architecture. This is amazing and I'd love to visit myself. Cool that you saw a monk in the ruins - very ghostly almost!
Its a fantastic place, so full of history and brilliant, deserted beaches. I hope you get to visit some day. Thanks for stopping by, cheers Alan
Stunning place, stunning weather! Yet another place added to the must visit list! Nice one 👌
Thanks very much for watching and it's a great place to visit, cheers Alan
Lovely seeing that coastline Alan combined with all the history like 153 with a full view as always
Thanks guys, real good of you to watch, cheers Alan
Nice walk and day out mate. Any pubs there? 👍
Aye, showed them all, all 3 of them (stop skimming) lol. Great place for a visit Chris and an even better place to stop overnight. Thanks for watching, cheers Alan

Thanks very much for watching, very much appreciated, cheers Alan
You keep heading to places that are on my radar lol. Looks amazing Alan.
Another of ur favorite places to visit and about a 90 minute drive back home, so not too bad. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Thats a beautiful area Alan, the Viking knew a Beach or two aye!
Very true Trev and real sorry it has taken me a year to reply but I have just seen this today. Hope you are well buddy, cheers Alan
@@AlanMETALMAN No bother mate, all is well here down south. Hope the Knee is ok. Trev
Awesome place with great history behind it! Grear beach with one footprints of yours, church and ruins, and bullet train passing. Beautiful hidden cove and just reserved for you guys. Great history telling and nice timelapse at the end.thumbs up for this superb vlog
Thanks very much for your kind words and taking the time to watch, I always appreciate it, cheers Alan
Beautiful place. I love all the stonework in your country😊
Thanks very much for watching Lewis and a favorite place to visit for us, cheers Alan
I do not know how she puts up with you ha ha. Just kidding. Hilarious video. What was the deal with that car? Caught in the tides?
Happens all the time, a car tries and fails to beat the tide and then gets trapped, you got about 7 hours before the tide comes back in again but it comes in real quickly. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Very pretty and quiet place... Love the Monk story... 😎👌 Bet that water was cold.. That was so very good weather.
Never known weather like it Max, in February, mind you, it did not last long lol. Thanks for watching buddy, cheers Alan
Ah but one good day is better than none.
My kind of place Alan, love those beaches there so quiet and peaceful. Cracking weather too although it did still look a little nippy to be skinny dipping! Lol! 👍 Anthony
Thanks for stopping by Anthony and its a real favorite of ours, especially as it is only 90 minutes from home. Cheers Alan
It's great you got to spend more time on the beach again. That's crazy about people getting stuck in the tide like that wow! It's awesome that you miss Metal Man have been together for so long :-). Great video Alan.
Thanks for watching Eric and every year someone thinks they can outrun the incoming tide but finds out they cannot and needs rescuing lol. Cheers Alan
Awesome brother! Absolutely gorgeous land!
That's very much for watching, always appreciate it, cheers Alan
Oh my goodness that beach is just gorgeous. It looks absolutely peaceful and beautiful there.
You can walk for miles on that beach and not see anyone, only thing you got to watch for is the tide coming back in. Appreciate you guys watching, cheers Alan
Great vid Alan & Mrs Metalman. Beautiful weather and those beaches 👍 😮 wow. Thanks for taking us along.
It can be a very busy place but you can always find a secluded spot, if you know where to look. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
loving the variety of walks your posting at min alan went to Berwick on tweed about 10 years ago and visited bamburgh castle and holy island both great places so thanks for reminding how great holy island is,great video and scenery cheers nigel
Thanks for watching Nigel and Bamburgh is brilliant as well, I had a bad experience at Berwick about 45 years ago, which put me off, so never been back lol. Cheers Alan
wow awesome footage Alan, with a full view, have a nice weekend both
Thanks, you too! Take care, cheers Alan
Amazing location Alan and as you say very historic I've always been tempted to visit thanks for sharing your private beaches
Take care
Roo
Appreciate you watching Roo and a place we love visiting, cheers Alan
This is great! I love being here in the desert, but so much I will never see. I guess we’re all living adventures in different places. Nice chapel!
This place is cool. Oh I would love to see a castle.
Strutting on the beach for Mrs metal,
How dare they be on your beach.
Vikings do not sound fun!
So sorry it had taken me 7 months to reply to your very nice comment but I have just seen it today, real sorry again, cheers Alan
Thanks very much for watching Gaz, cheers Alan
wow, it is such a magnificent video I have ever watched,.. Really cool.. your new friend here.. Subbed your channel and liked.^^ Cheers ~
Thanks very much for watching, really appreciate it, cheers Alan
@@AlanMETALMAN you are very welcome ~
Love it here Alan and agree always love the views when coming home from Edinburgh on the train..nice one :)
Thanks Julie, it's such a special place, especially when you have it almost all to yourself. Thank you very much for watching, cheers Alan
Man that looks like a beautiful place to explore!!! I love all the history w/ old church, good info about the tied..would not like to get a car rental stuck..thanks for sharing
Apparently, if you do get stuck, it invalidates your insurance, so a very expensive day out lol. Cheers Alan
Cheers Alan
Amazing footage. It is so open and beautiful ... and the sounds of the ocean! What a wonderful place. Thanks, Alan!
I was going to marry there but it didnt work out :)
Your production is excellent.
Cheers Alan
Alan METALMAN - Hiking & Outdoors Thanks Alan, really useful to know👍
What a great day for it Alan , we went last may but the fog descended and we could see nowt lol , many years back we broke down on the island and the AA had to rescue us , but trying to explain where we were was a mare lol .
This is such an amazing hike ..... You sure know how to live.
Always appreciate you watching and we are so luck to have thing on ourdoorstep, it's such an awesome place, cheers Alan
Class place buddy I have so many documentaries about here a wee connection to our island
So much history there, which I love and even on such a small island, you can always find a bit of peace and quiet, which I also love. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
When I saw the car stuck, I thought you'd tried to save a couple of quid on parking, great island and castle thanks for showing us around.
Lmaooooo 😅😅😅. Happens ever year and apparently, it invalidates your insurance, so it is an expensive place to get stuck. Appreciate you watching, cheers Alan
watched again Alan with a full view
Thank you very much, that is very much appreciated, cheers Alan
Was surprised to hear you say you were going in for a swim, how cold is the water? Some history right there with the Vikings! 👍☠️
To be honest, I was very tempted to go in for a swim but the tide was on the way out, so I did not want to end up in Denmark lol! Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
beautiful footage Alan, like 160 with a full view
Thanks for the visit, my most popular video, goes to show the importance of a good thumbnail, cheers Alan
Cheers Alan
everyone thinks they know better
Thats a cracking thumbnail! Excited to watch this later! 😂
Oh, thank you :o)
Beautiful place, weather and Nice filming my friend Alan👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Unbelievable weather for the time of year and so nice it was so quiet, I love days like that. Appreciate you stopping by, cheers Alan
Heck yeah brother! That looks like such an amazing place. Right out of Tolkien. Thanks for taking us along. Have a blessed one
We love it there and only 90 minutes from home, love the history there and on a sunny day like that, it's awesome. Thanks very much for stopping by guys, cheers Alan
Just seen your first Advert alan - full watch at this end
Yeah! Thanks very much, really apprecite all your help, cheers Alan
I wonder if i can get here via public transport somehow, great video mate you've earned a sub, top bloke.
Real nice of you to watch and take the time to comment, very much appreciated, cheers Alan
woww.. the border ocean.. the viking this is like fairy tale to me hahahah
One of out favorite day trips and so much history there, which I love. Mrs Metalman loves the beaches there and when the tide is out, you can walk for miles and not see a single person. Thank you for watching, cheers Alan
Well done, great video
Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
That beach looks amazing so empty!! Reminds me of the 90 mile beach in New Zealand 🇳🇿
The thumbnail drew me in on this one! Beautiful area and even time for a swim! The new camera footage looks great!
Thanks for watching Mark, cheers Alan
nice vlog! thanks for sharing buddy! stay in touch.! like 63
Thanks very much for watching, very much appreciated, cheers Alan
Lovely stuff! I cd see Metalman in the new season of The Vikings.
Caught right up to date with the Vikings now, which is a shame, as we need a new boxset to get into. Tried a few but nothing gripping to be honest.
our only holidays as Geordie kids were spent in Bamburgh in a caravan.
we cannot replace the childhood but we bought some of it for our children to enjoy,
My childhood holidays were 2 weeks at Sunderland, stopping with my grandmother, always seemed to get canny weather mind, cheers Alan
mother and aunties would be wrapped up for winter behind wind breaks whilst us kids went blue in the sea. happy holidays Alan
