- The 2023 season is the .360 Buckhammer's first in the field, and the ultimate straight wall cartridge is already living up to its name. We've already harvested a doe with the .360 BHMR, but its time we upped the ante.
In this episode of #HuntWithAHenry, Cody drops the hammer on a Nebraska 10 pointer from a stand on his home farm. Spoiler alert, the .360 Buckhammer put him down with ease.

Made in America, Or Not Made At All.
I'm almost impressed enough with this new cartridge to buy one. Excellent harvest 👍
Got a brand new Henry 45-70 Bigboy for my 78th Birthday. Whadda a gorgeous rifle!

Oh my, meat on the table. And freezer!❤️
I'd like to name this Buck the turkey foot 10.
That heat trail of the bullet before impact was awesome
Congratulations young man.
Thank you!
Good job Cody. That 360 BH done the trick. Great video. Go Henry.
Thank you!
Mr Cody... That my friend was a textbook shot, leg forward, slight angle, bullet entered the sweet spot, speaking from personal experience, this 70 year old geezer predicts a heart & lung shot with a clean exit out the right side, with a little luck missing the right shoulder on exit...
Bill...
Took out heart and lungs both! Yes sir!
I work at Henry. Thanks for the endorsement

Good Deer$$ Congrats!! Sweet Rifle$$
👍 great video
Thanks
Congratulations, good job
Thank you!
Will this cartridge help me hammer a buck?
No, get a big private ranch and do nothing but sit in a blind for a couple hours, that's real hunting.🙄
Where there any fly's in the blind, i couldn't tell. 😉
What a deal lol Need the weather to cool down!
Not gonna lie the giant 6 point would have been my choice lol. Thats been my dream deer sense I was a young. I have no idea why lol
Was Temping!
if you had a bug-0-salt rifle you could have done some warm ups while you waited 😀
I'm not gonna lie. Every time i look at a new straight wall cartridge my 45-70 just reminds me that there ain't a whitetail in ohio that won't die from it after a clean shot.
Maybe something smaller for my boys when they get off age but that's the only reason I'd look at a different cartridge in these woods
Was wondering what height scope rings you have on the 360 Buckhammer. Waiting for mine to get shipped to my local gun store in a couple of days.
The rings are tally rings we sell on our Henry Pride store!
Would you happen to know the yardage on the shot ? Living in ohio have been wondering which was better 360 4570
Shot was around 75 yards.
What distance were you shooting? Given your family has a good field where deer come every year, why would you want to go "out west"?
Love going out west and having deer camp with friends. We have have a lot of fun and have made some awesome memories out there.
Shot was about 75 yards
What part of Nebraska you hunting in?
Southern
I just recently bought the h009g 360 buck hammer but im having a tough time finding ammo for it. Is Remington producing alot of it? I also heard federal is starting to manufacture it. Im hoping other join like norma and winchester
They are definitely working on more and more ways to get this new cartridge out to consumers!
Sure hope that blind is heated….
Not heated but insulated! Home made!
who makes the blind?
Home made blind that was Cody's grandfather's.
MADE IN AMERICA, can mean many things, as opposed to MADE IN THE U.S.A.!!!
Yo 🇺🇸👊
What part of Nebraska are you from
What song was playing at the end of the video?
Great shot... Great buck!!! How far was that shot? And how far out do you feel comfortable shooting the buckhammer?
Shot was about 75 yards. If feel confident to 200 yards with no problem!
You can scatter 100 lbs of carrots all around that blind to get the deer even closer????
How do you have flies inside, when the door and windows were closed? Isn't keeping flies out their main reason for existence?
Door on this home made blind does seal perfectly haha. It was quite the surprise. Usually the cold weather keeps them away.
Congratulations Cody, beautiful big buck! What scope and power do you have on that Henry and what was the yardage of that shot? It looked about 100-150.
Leupold 3-9. Shot was about 75 yards. Thanks!
@@HenryUSA Good Hunt! Which load was used? Mfg and weight?
Im sorry. Old county boy from WVA, if this is sit in a blind on a contained raised deer ranch, thats soy boy hunting, almost sad. A doe taken with a stalk on a mountain is better than the above mentioned
Not a deer ranch. This is Cody's small family owned farm in Nebraska. He's also sitting in a home made deer blind his grandfather made. 100% free range here on the Henry channel.
@HenryUSA Good, I appreciate my "if" was answered. Nice buck, I bet he was delicious .
@@WolfBiteTacticalwhat an ass. Literally no reason to spread that kind of negativity in the hunting community. We are dealing with enough drama from outside the industry as it is.
That's talking trash the soys don't appreciate such things. Hunting circumstances change from place to place.
Dear Henry family.why is it you make guns put out all these ads?I have wanted to fill orders for my customers and there is never any Henry's in stock this has gone on for over 3 years.its very annoying not to be able to fill my orders
