  • The 2023 season is the .360 Buckhammer's first in the field, and the ultimate straight wall cartridge is already living up to its name. We've already harvested a doe with the .360 BHMR, but its time we upped the ante.
In this episode of #HuntWithAHenry, Cody drops the hammer on a Nebraska 10 pointer from a stand on his home farm. Spoiler alert, the .360 Buckhammer put him down with ease.

Mr Cody... That my friend was a textbook shot, leg forward, slight angle, bullet entered the sweet spot, speaking from personal experience, this 70 year old geezer predicts a heart & lung shot with a clean exit out the right side, with a little luck missing the right shoulder on exit...
    Bill...

I'm not gonna lie. Every time i look at a new straight wall cartridge my 45-70 just reminds me that there ain't a whitetail in ohio that won't die from it after a clean shot.
Maybe something smaller for my boys when they get off age but that's the only reason I'd look at a different cartridge in these woods
