I would like this to lounge around the house when my shoulders are cold, but I don't want an entire blanket to cuddle up into. Sometimes bulky warm tops are too much, but I just want something, and this would be good. Especially if I were sitting up in bed already under warm covers, just to keep my arms warm while reading or something. I could see getting two inexpensive stretchy fleece blankets -- one to use as a blanket and another to make this shrug to go-with as an ensemble to cozy up into to read, do some hand sewing, and/or watch a little tv. thank you for sharing this video and all of your wisdom and expertise. Much appreciated!
Hi Marie! I’m happy to see you make this shrug, it is so cute and looks super cozy. Thanks for sharing😊. Btw, your new table is very nice and spacious, enjoy❤.
What a cute little top! Your new work table is great... I'm sure you'll really enjoy it. Question... Could you make it a little "longer" (to maybe go below the bust line)? If so, how would you alter? TIA
This might also make a nice gift for someone like a nursing mother or an elderly person or one who’s going through chemotherapy-because those places are always cold or the reaction to the meds can cause chilling. With the two separate stretchy sleeves perhaps there wouldn’t be as much of a fabric management issue as with an entire sweater or sweatshirt. Just a thought, because due to cooling weather, Christmas is on my mind. 😊 Thanks for sharing your project. 🎉
I was thinking the same thing! Great idea for my mom who gets chilly arms and shoulders in her nursing home. I could make one the same copper colour as her wheelchair!
You know when you oversleep and then try to wrangle on all of your clothes while getting your keys and shoes on and running to the car at the same time? That's what this reminded me of. Glad you like it. Super Nope for me. ;) I couldn't even watch the video ( which is saying something because I love all of the other ones you have done...)
That pattern is going on the list. I always buy a coordinating plain fabric to match the main knit fabric, knowing eventually i’ll find just the right shrug-ish thing to compliment the short or no sleeve dress i had in mind. This one might be just the thing. I love your tee shirt! So… does it remind hubs of you because he thinks your a cranky catto, or because you’re forever unpicking 😂
Hi Marie. I've been binge watching your episodes this past month recovering from surgery. Your voice (& channel) is calm & soothing...and why your channel is my favorite sewing one. I need chill. 😂 The way you talk is that of a teacher friend. 🧵 🪡😊 Thanks for sharing your talents, your makes & your black cats. I've been looking at my patterns & matching with fabric for post recovery. Been watching tutorials on FBA & hope to be able to do it as well as you do.

I'm not sure how that would work ... 🤔

Thank you, Marie!
Great repurposing of some fleece. The tee shirt was so cute i had to order one for myself. 😁 Happy stitching on your new table set-up, too. 💓
I LOVE it!❤️
Your husband is a genius, finding that tee shirt! 😁 The shrug is a very different kind of garment... Thank you for sharing.
That top is a great find, good for this time of year. Love seeing the new born hope all the others come along easy. That is a good table space. x
Very nice! Your table looks like a keeper! 😊
Love this! Very flattering on you while also being functional!
That was fun and looks good❤

It looks very cozy. Fleece is so fun to sew on with sewing machine and serger. I am making a winter coat out of fleece.
This would be a great 'layering' to go with a vest... I love this.
Cozy! 🧡🍂🍂🍃🍃 🐄, I know you'll let us know how the table goes. Tfs
Oh perfect, I have this pattern and have been meaning to make it, thanks a bunch for the great video
Juliette is so beautiful, I like your shrug.
Perfect gift idea!!!
