Welcome to Forestella's music world!🤗
It is a crossover group that encompassing almost all genres such as pop, ballad, rock, classical, folk, dance, trot, jazz, and tango. Forestella's members consist of two classical vocalists (bass Ko Woo-rim, tenor Jo Min-kyu), one rock vocalist (soprano & rock Kang Hyung-Ho), and one musical actor (R&B style husky voice Bae Doo-Hoon).
They won the 2017 Korean audition program Phantom Singer Season 2. Since their debut in 2018, they have released 3 full- albums, mini-albums, and single albums, and are actively promoting. (Evolution, Mystique, The Forestella, The Beginning: World Tree)
They were all engaged in music activities at their respective places before the audition (classical singer, musical actor, chemistry researcher), but they met through the Phantom Singer season 2 program and became a team.
There is creativity in re-creating one's own color without losing the essence of the original song.
They make special music that cannot be found anywhere else in the world, but they move us with music that everyone can relate to. You can freely change your vocal style and play songs of various genres.

Hi~ Thanks for your reaction to FORESTELLA. I'd love to tell you about FORESTELLA briefly. They've met at an audition program called "Phantom Singer 2" which finds the best male cross-over quartet in South Korea. These 4 guys were included(survived) in the final 12 singers among hundreds of applicants. And, the program PD divided those 12 amazing singers into 3 groups as the singers want. And, guess what? They(FORESTELLA) won this audition!!!
When they sing on the stage, they normally set their positions like this. The first one from the left side is Ko Woo-rim(bass, a grad-schooler in vocal music), the second one is Kang Hyeong-ho(conter-tenor/soprano, ex-chemist), the third one is Cho Min-kyu(tenor, MA degree in vocal music) and the fourth one is Bae Doo-hoon(tenor, musical actor) There're many amazing songs they've covered. I wanna recommend a few songs in the below. Stay safe and have a good one! 😊

yes, they are considered the kings of harmonies and every single voice is unique. They cover songs of all genres, add their own spice and, always with respect for the original, make the song their own. How about "Champions (the harmonies are amazing), "Inner-Universe", "Spread Silk on my Heart". Forestella also sings perfectly in other languages, including Italian ("Parla piu piano"(the Godfather), "nella fantasia"(high pitch), "L`immensita", "un altra vita". Anyone who has heard them once , will become addictive.

Y en las recomendaciones no se si le mencionaron "je suis malade",la más conmovedora entrega de estos maravillosos cantantes. También es altamente recomendable los solos de Cho Myng ho(el tenor lírico)"balada triste de trompeta,y el tango Balada para un loco,y de Khan o Pitta(el contratenor),el fantasma de la opera,dónde interpreta ambos roles,Crhistine y the phantom.

This is Forestella, a crossover group from Korea. They are the winner group in the Phantom Singer 2; a survival audition show to form a crossover quartet like il Divo from Korea. However as they have their own unique style, they won't be Korean il Divo, they will be the Forestella of the world!
Forestella has sung great covers like Bohemian Rhapsody, We are the Champions, Heal the World, the Sound of Silence, My Favorite Things, Champions (mash-up of Champs league theme and Champions by Jo SuMi), Nella Fantasia, Scarborough Fair..etc etc. At the Phantom Singer All Stars they sang Time in a bottle, Je suis Malade as well. Shape of You in English, Spanish and African Zulu is fantastic indeed.
You can even see them dancing singing Smooth Criminal as well! And they broke the record of their own with Bad Romance which seems toxic version of their Lazenca Save Us, winning 5 trophies for King of Kings in a row in Immortal Songs.
Forestella is a quartet of Ko WooRim (classical bass, intense abyss-deep low tone), Kang HyungHo (ex-research chemist, rock vocalist with soprano falsetto voice), Cho MinGyu (classical leggiero tenor, light boyish crystal clear tone) and Bae DooHoon (musical actor, 159th King of the Masked Singers, emotion convincer good at R&B, Pop). Each has distinct tone and style of singing, different charm. But all of them are famous as practice-freaks. In a radio program the leader (Cho MinGyu) revealed it would be around 20 days they didn't meet in the year. Recently Bae DooHoon also said they don't meet 1~2 days in a month. I think this explains how their perfection can be executed.
