WOW! This video solved my problem in less than 1 minute! Miraculous. Thank you! My keyboard shortcuts to snip images on Windows stopped working for no reason. Usually these things are a nightmare of google tech help rabbit holes taking forever to solve but YOUR video solved my problem in literally less than a minute, when I did the first thing you instructed in this video. I am amazed. Thank you for returning my work day to sanity -- I use this tool constantly.
the first option by resetting the windows explorer helped me right away. thank you so much. i was looking for a solution for literal hours on end and thank the lord i found this video which helped my problem within 20 seconds! thank you.

What did work was changing the screen resolution. I went from the recommended 1900 X 1080 all the way down to 800 X 600 and it worked!! My monitor automatically selects the highest resolution so the picture I'm snipping isn't affected. Now I just drop the resolution when I am using the Snip Tool and then put the resolution back to maximum after I'm sone using the Snipping Tool. A little cumbersome, but it works.

I have a new keyboard, and the snip and sketch tool isn't working like it did with my old one. I assume this is the issue as it started when I plugged in my new kbm. Have any way to help resolve this?

Of course my recording setup (aka ALL notifications off, hard stop) was the culprit. Now I just toggle it on and off with that Focus Assistant button some it's good to go. Thanks for the pointers
the snipping tool app isnt in my notifacations settings but i have it downloaded the only problem i have is to use the hotkey for screenshoting its a lot easier.

My videos are good quality. I get comments saying people disliked because it was "too long", "don't like the voice", "too slow". Honestly, if I told you this video had 20 dislikes for whatever reasons and 12,000 views, is that really going to tell you much? I don't agree with the public removal of the dislike counter, but I am just letting you know how disliking a video doesn't mean the video doesn't work, people can't follow directions, etc.

mine is different it works for the first time but when i want to continue to use the shortcut snip it, it wont work for the second time
the best tutorial!, No other tutorial could solve my problem and simply restarting Windows Explorer worked for me.

None of the options worked for me.
I however clicked on FN + WIN + SHIFT + S.
Then I clicked on WIN + SHIFT + S to be able to use snap tool. :)
