New Bonsai project from nursery stock - Cotoneaster dammeri "Coral Blue"

New semi-cascade bonsai project using a Cotoneaster.
I'm not sure if I'm pushing my luck too much, most of the roots are under the moss, only a small fraction is touching the new substrate.
I'm leaving the tree in a protected location outdoors, where it doesn't get too much wind or sun which would accelerate the humidity loss.
I will show you the tree again in one month, hopefully.
Removing all the soil took me approximately 1 hour.

Taking chances on new trees and styles is always the best. Definitely always a risk but when it pays off its worth it. Thank you.

For now the tree will be ok (I hope) but I really need to consider location and watering schedule next summer… as they are, the chances of the roots drying out are very high… thank you 🙏 !!
