On a solid axle car. Would you want to set it up with toe in and camber? And before anyone comments. You heat the axle tube and quench it with cold water. The method is used for strengthening them.
So the semi trailing arm suspension on my Cressida is good for drifting because it toes in? Every one told me it was bad to have dynamic toe. Good thing I don’t listen to any one I guess 🤷🏼♂️
i think, that for grip, toe out is very bad and quite dangerous in rain, i had fwd a car aligned out as usually do mechanics in my area and the car understeera a lot, i changed the tires but finaly i put it to zero, and a like it, steer is bague in the centre but it has no understeer no matter isñf it is rain, i had done conñrners raining that i dond believe. anoter car a e46 aligned toe IN as usuali do the mechanics in bmw cars but only 1mm per wheel, has a lot understeer too, i aligneg to 2.5mm per wheel and again understeer disapear. i could agree that for dift toe out is better, in fact i think that ackerman can be other form to get better grip for drift and giro
Did you say 1/8 of a inch!?! Don't you mean 3.175mm?😂 Just kidding. But seriously you do machine work. How often do you use imperial measurements over metric, if any at all. -From southern indiana-
Haha it’s automotive! Let me order an 18x9” wheel with a +15mm offset 😅 in North American imperial tape measures are every where and it’s actually tough to get a metric only tape. That’s the only reason I’d say this for toe. Metric system is Superior for the record
Your build videos and race videos are great and all, but these technical videos are just absolute gold. Always wild getting this kinda stuff for free.
Appreciate it! We will keep on making them
A bar suspension discussion with Chelsea would be music to my ears!! Pipe dreams 😂

Is your podcast coming back? I binged them all, and now feel empty inside.
Will be filming new episodes soon!
This is total toe out or toe out on each wheel?
When you say a half inch of toe in in the rear, does that mean 1/4” per tire?
Yes this is overall toe

Your explaination of front toe doesn’t really hit the nail on the head. And from watching your other videos, you should know why
