The start of Elizabeth Olsen Emmy award winning performance is tomorrow i can't wait. She looks amazing as always I'm excited to see how these 3 cast mates do
Sure, yet they are not above exploiting it for their career ambitions and financial gain, they still chuckle when they are talking about it (inappropriate to say the least) and they can't even say clearly that Candy IS the culprit and it's not actually ''ambiguous'' as Hollywood likes to portray this, they still try to diminish her responsibility. Doesn't scream ''acknowledging'' to me.
@@yevgeniyaleshchenko849.... Candy is still alive. Last thing that they want is a defamation suit against them for their opinion on the outcome of the trial and their real feelings and opinions. Double Jeopardy will never allow for Betty Gore to receive justice and it's not Elizabeth Olsen's or Lily Rabe's fault for that.
Great cast and stellar performance by all. Lily interviews so well. And love how tuned in she is when Elizabeth and Jesse are giving their responses. This series was so well done; haunting, gruesome, sad, heartbreaking.
excellent interview! i feel slightly bad for them they obviously didn't like shooting that certain scene and they're tough women for making it through together
Oh give me a break. They are ACTORS not ''tough women''. Yeah, it couldn't have been an easy scene to shoot, yet ultimately it's all play-pretend not a heroic feat you're implying. It's their JOB which they all signed up for.
@@yevgeniyaleshchenko849You obviously have no idea what it takes to be an actor lmfao. The amount of determination that they have to go through to quite literally LIVE and BREATHE as the characters that they are portraying can be exhausting. Not only emotionally, but physically as well. Obviously this was a physically taxing scene, or they wouldn’t have needed a double for Lily’s character. That being said I think it’s safe to say that they are tough for shooting this story. Let’s not degrade their line of work because it doesn’t look tough from the screen. They have to do the scenes that you watch several times over. Nobody said they are out here saving lives or curing cancer - but they are doing a job that not a lot of people can do successfully. Keep that in mind.
@Kade C ... Agree, Agree, Agree! Everything you said in both comments is 100% spot on. And I just wanted to add to anyone who thinks "acting/actors/actresses" equates to the terms "easy, entitled and envious of" - just remember that Amber Heard is an "actress". Not only is she someone who NOONE wanted to work with or for because she was insufferable, unable to remember lines and could not come across as believable/learning her character and adding depth into the script for the cameras. Pull up any part of her trial against Johnny Depp last year and remember that BOTH Heard and Depp are in the industry; but acting and their jobs are so easy to do huh? That's why Jack Nicholson warned Heath Ledger about getting "to serious and channeling the character of 'The Joker' because of the dangers that may arise".... (I'm paraphrasing what his exact words and warnings were)..... This particular type of TV Series, based on actual events that took place in a totally different Time Era, and involving the loss of a young woman's/wife's/mother's/daughter's/friend's etc life in such a brutal way; there's a certain expression and authenticity displayed by each character to appear relatable, believable, remain respectful and unbiased despite knowing what is about to come, in order to maintain a good hold on the audience's attention and due justice to the real person who is being portrayed. It's not just remembering & reading lines in front of a camera. Just sayin
I've always been interested in horror stories and true crime so nothing much phases me but man that Axe Scene had me cringing fantastic acting girls BRAVO.
Watched first 5 episodes and think it is great. One thing I wonder is if Candy really fell out of love for Allen as she claims after affair ended 8 months prior to murder. The hypnosis scene is so very good because EO is such a fine actor. As the whole cast is.
Aaaw man ALMOST, i've been waiting to someone to ask Lizzie if she would ever do horror, because she already worked with THE hole trinity of AHS Sarah, Jessica and Evan. And obviously now Lilly
It’s so true …..it wasn’t one person ……that triangle was doomed. So true she cared so much what people thought and she snapped . Elizabeth you are gorgeous …this is a great part for you! Lily you are one of my favorite actresses. Right Lily is no stranger to the gruesome !! I can’t wait to watch this . Good questions …… Yes it’s so very sad Betty was pregnant. Sooo sad. Yea how did you unwind at home ??? OMG yes sooooo intense . Right up my alley 😅 I repeat Lily you’re so good and I LOVED you in all your American Horror Stories.
What are you talking about, sweeetie??? It WAS one person's actions that led to all of that. Sure, Betty's husband was a cheating jerk and not totally ''innocent'' yet ultimately he didn't kill his wife, Candy did. What do you mean ''trinagle was doomed'', no it wasn't, it wasn't ''fate'' or something, it was a set of event caused by two people (the cheaters) and finished by one, the murderer. It could and should have gone other way if Candy hadn't wielded that axe. Less pathos please. Also, you don't know if she actually ''snapped'' or did this deliberately... Either way, she killed an innocent person whose husband she screwed in a gruesome way. If she cared what people thought, she shouldn't have started this whole affair in the first place. Nothing justifies brutal murder of a woman they lied to and cheated on for months. Don't romanticize or rationalize this tragedy and don't diminish Candy's responsibility. She did it, she should have been brought to justice for that.
Except that one person WAS the cause for all of this. Sure, Betty's husband was a cheating jerk who re-married 6 months after Bett's murder... Yet, Candy was the one who started and ended this chain of the events and ultimately she was the one wielding the axe and murdering the innocent woman in a horrific way and knowingly leaving an infant (Betty's child) all by herself for many hours.
I agree 1000% but these are people who led their own lives it was a complete chain of events WHOS to say if the affair needed to happen for candy or Betty to initiate the fight, someone cheating on someone doesn’t mean go murder them nor should it ever lead that far, it wouldn’t have made sense for candy to murder her so messy and then expect Alan to want to run off together it was very clear they had no intention of doing so as both shortly after having the affair cheated again with different people, candy and her husband weren’t very happy together till the retreat, like wise for Betty and Allan, I’m not going to discredit or credit candys side of events cuz she can be 1000% be telling the truth but I was not in that room so therefore i will not she was “ultimately the one wielding the axe” she’s just the one to survive, the bruises indicate a struggle and like the police say there is no way to say who started what first but there was a huge struggle which aligns with candys portrayal of events back to Betty although she was this amazing person she had psychological disorders that were left undiagnosed and untreated…candy as well! Digressing from all that I do wonder one little thing, if Betty had lived and both had little to no damage would they both go to jail? Or who would the world put the blame on then, cuz remember people can forgive murder over and over but will almost never forgive adultery which is what a lot of people exclaim in this story Is the big picture which it isn’t taking away the affair an attack is an attack nonetheless (also please don’t argue with me I’m not trying to start anything or be rude I simply am kinda laying out for me to read and for you to also work around if that makes sense)
The idea of anyone cheating on their husband with Jesse Plemons, especially overweight pre-OzempicJesse Plemons, is too unbelievable and ruined the whole thing

@@yevgeniyaleshchenko849 It's not the actors' job to judge Candy. Blame the jury who acquitted her of the crime if you think she has responsibilities.

Probably for a upcoming movie
Said he got tired of carrying all the weight, quit eating bad food and, probably most important, intermittent fasting
